If you're making somewhere between $200K and $250K a year, paying off a mere $5k debt would seem to be pretty simple.
So why is a mortgage company calling the FOP offices looking for JCat?

I thought i saw that POS driving on my @$$ today going down Pulaski and then 103rd st. Dude was on right up on me and then changed lanes cutting people off and passed everyone in the curb lane. John recently held a special board meeting to tell them that he wanted to transfer $1.2 MILLION from the general fund to the PAC fund. Didn't John raise our dues so it could go into the PAC fund? He gave a candidate $80k who was never even in contention for the race. How much of our money are these politicians kicking back to John? We'll never know the real damage he's done until we get him out and a REAL forensic audit of the financials are done. An audit that none of the current board has anything to do with.

Sure, there's 1000 reasons why it may have gotten there - but the long and the short of it is - THERE'S A JUDGMENT entered against the guy.
So now you should have doubts about his ability to deal with the finances of the FOP. What'd he do? What happened? Why'd it get to this point? At the very least, call a meeting, bring it all out in the open to at least allay any concerns.

How many times did he get elected?? I would start there, I read these comments & the "positives" seem to have other insider knowledge. So make sure every copper remembers these comments next election. How many real officers are on CPD. Not what you're allowed, no smoke & mirrors but let the cops know how many police there really are. Have OUTSIDE entities run the next election. No mail in ballots if you're wearing a star you can walk. Get as many safes as there are districts. Only officers who show ID can receive a ballot, fill it out in front of people (not letting anyone see who you're voting for) toss inside slot at the top of the safe. If there's 12,372 officers & 12,373 votes dump the ballots & start over. Somehow we have to get a valid vote & a valid board.
That and the conversion from VDays to hours shorts you a day and a half……
