Not a Good Look
Charges dropped in the recent ATF/CPD Detail shooting:
Federal authorities have now dropped charges against three robbery suspects, of which two were shot during an undercover ATF gun trafficking operation.
Prosecutors claim they obtained new evidence contradicting the ATF and FBI agents' original version of events, according to court records....
Video of a law enforcement officer’s shooting of a Markham teenager June 9 in Country Club Hills appears to contradict the account given to a federal judge last week in a sworn affidavit from an FBI special agent.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Keri Holleb Hotaling ordered the video’s public release Thursday after its discovery prompted federal prosecutors to drop charges related to an attempted robbery during an undercover operation in the south suburb.
Yet another reason to disband the fbi....and not to be detailed to be part of this inherently compromised organization.
There have been genuine efforts to redirect the feebs from the dark path the previous administration directed them down, namely becoming the Temu-Stasi Secret Police, but it seems the political indoctrination is just to ingrained to overcome.

The affidavit is the same thing as a sworn complaint. The FBI just investigated the shooting. This would be like when mamma wants her baby daddy locked up for domestic, then video appears that disputes baby momma's statement. That's not on you, just like this is not on the FBI.
I was hoping President Trump would have by now disbanded the EFF 🐝 👁️, along with some other 3 letter intel agencies that have been taken over by radicals, political and religious.
They should just stick to their specialty, Forever Busting Italians.
Wow. ,,,,,,the former untouchables have been Biden handled. Disgusting.
It's fun to make fun of the feds, but watch the tape.
The TF officer already has his gun out, winds up rassling the offender, winds up losing the rassling match. So you had dude on his feet, TFO on his back on the ground. TFO had to make a split second decision: is dude going to run away, or is he going to kick the crap out of TFO? He decides not to take the chance of a boot to the head, and shoots dude.
Then of course like any stressful situation, he doesn't remember the exact sequence of events, so he becomes an unreliable witness.
Still, as long as no one prosecutes or disciplines the TFO, it's a happy ending. The "extra holes in people" scoreboard reads Dude 1, Cops 0. Like golf, lowest score wins. CC, JSM
what do you mean get rid of those from cpd detailed to the feds? what will all those bosses' kids do then? police work?
The Feds whether it be the FBI, DEA, or ATF have always been a joke. I've worked with all of them. They are born LIARS!!! The US Attorney's Office is even worse. The agencies frame everything they way the US Attorney's Office want it, not what actually happened. They have a shit fit if CPD doesn't go along with their narrative. Since CPD started wearing body cameras for everything it's only gotten worse. The Feds don't want anything to do with body cameras so they either do something separate or don't do it at all. Most people in Law Enforcement don't realize that the Feds don't do much. They leech off of what local Law Enforcement does and then take all the credit for the investigation. Recently Ive seen a lot of know nothings commenting on this blog about what are they doing at Homan Square??? I can tell you literally every team has done or are trying to do real investigations. One team actually got to suppliers out of state. Teams are getting phone records linking targets to cartels in Mexico. The US Attorney's Office always shut down the investigation. They aren't looking for big investigations unless it's from the wire team (they don't approve anything for them either). They won't approve charges for anything and don't play nice with local prosecutors no matter what they promise. Unfortunately CPD is broke and always have to go back to the FEDS with their hands out for funds to make undercover purchases. Hell, the FEDs don't even make undercover purchases anymore. They use CPD and Human Sources (confidential informants) for everything. They would shit themselves if they had to do something undercover outside of a comfy vehicle. Federal Law Enforcement are just paper shufflers. The task force officers do all the work. Anyone with any actual knowledge of how the feds work already know this.
The legend of Peter Strocz continues.
JMHO but so many of these families seem to share in the proceeds that drug sales produce that the economy would really take a hit. No new IPhones, no fancy shoes, new car sales, no trips to casinos or Disney cruises…….so maybe there is a reverse/adverse machination behind it all being underserved by our alphabet agencies? …….just saying……
You are unhinged. Seek help.
It sounds like the ATF Agent and TFO, Officer detailed to the ATF, lied to the FBI who investigated the shooting. Just like when we fill out an arrest report and complaint based on what we know at that time. ATF thought they got all the video , they didn’t, CWB. When the FBI Agent saw the new video, They called the AUSA to tell them the new evidence discovered. Sounds like ATF and CPD Officer are jammed up. Unarmed, failure to provide aid,
Exactly. It’s on the STF and the TFO, who lied.
Interesting perspective. I trusted a few of them and a few of them trusted me. But no one, CPD or an agent, trusted the FBI. They hang their hats on TRYING to find dirty cops. Unless you have been there you won't understand how it works. It takes a year to learn the basic paperwork. If you are on a good team you won't believe how much money and drugs areout there. Rarely will you see a gang member. Often you will see cartel members. It's a crazy world and CPD has no idea how that world works. Never turn down a opportunity to work on a task force. CPD is a joke. That's why Chicago is a major hub and always will be.
Talk to Marquette 10 officers. They will tell you how the FBI lied and hid jury evidence among other transgressions to get guilty pleas.
100% correct!
This is actually fairly true. -A Fed (not fbi)
Those details are pretty good gigs.
I knew a good one a while back.
If investigations do not lead to arrests, prosecution and reduction of crime, what is the point and purpose of these teams and units?
And in the end the CPD officer will get stuck holding the bag. Let this be a lesson to you all, dont trust the feds ans dont count on them to be there for you when the shit hits the fan.
I remember as far back as the 1970s, reading complaints about the ATF. All they're good for is hassling gun stores, cabbaging up cases against law-abiding gun owners who've displeased Their Majesties, and trampling all over the Bill of Rights.
Wow, a team actually got to a supplier out of state? That used to be par for the course at Homan. But if they were doing consistently quality work the 1505 coffers would be full and they would not have to rely on the feds money all the time.
Wow! Narcotics got to an out-of-state supplier? That used to happen on a regular basis! Or the bigger suppliers more locally.
He is one creepy dude, I think he is possessed.
Nice try, not the same goof!
Famous But Incompetent.
Mr Hoover, Director from 1924 to 1972 (48 years!), would not have tolerated this and would have unleased Administrative Vengence upon all involved.
The TFO never talked to the FBI you’re an asshole
Maybe he should’ve stuck to the facts in the first place.
So says a G they/them/us.
True Dat
fbi not FBI
No way!! But I thought the US was a “first world country” with no corruption?
