Premature Detonation?
A lot of questions in the burbs:
- All lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway reopened on Thursday evening, after being shut down for nearly nine hours after a person was found dead in a vehicle surrounded by shell casings on the roadway.
Someone dead on the Eisenhower isn't that unusual. Someone dead amidst a collection of shell casings is slightly unusual.
But look who showed up to investigate:
- It’s unclear exactly what happened but the Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed one person has died, and WGN9 reported that a bomb squad responded to the scene. Illinois State Police said they were assisting a federal investigation at the scene.
The "federal" part of the investigation included the ATF and fbi, drones and robots.
Bomb? Portable meth lab? BBQ gas cylinder?
Fun times - stay aware.

9 hours? Tag them and bag them. Get traffic moving.
I have had premature detonation many times. Didn’t close down an expressway for hours. Just a lil mess to clean up.

did the bomb have a serial number? did the bomber pass a background check? did he have bomb owners i/d card? the liberal media is trying make up a story the dead guy was a registered Republican

9 fucking hours, BS, have IDOT drag that car to the shoulder or off to the surface street, just like when assholes shoot each other, don't tie traffic up for hours for nothing. So what did they accomplish in those 9 hours. I will tell you, not a fucking thing. They close it down to walk the roadway looking for shell casings??/ These victims wont tell you anything so why bother the public with this shit.
The crazy part is that if there was some sort of device most of CPD won't hear about it. The ones that do hear about it are gonna find out from the news or social media. Counterterrorism class at the new academy ? no way. How to inventory a elote cart, 8 hour module !
Reading the article makes it look like the dead guy was driving out to O'Hare. That's a good place for a bomb threat.
Soooooo can we get an explanation for the “multiple shell casings on the ground surrounding the vehicle” anyone…..bueller?
When will they announce that the dead guy was a Muslim terrorist enroute to a Muslim terrorist bombing attack on American society?
This is a really weird one in several respects. Just hang on for more details as investigation moves ahead.
