A New Rumor
Someone is claiming on assorted social media platforms that a new set of subpoenas arrived at the Hall just this week.
We've had a comment or two about it, some emails, screen shots, etc. Someone else claims they talked to a fed who said, "Yup, ongoing and expanding investigation, yadda yadda yadda."

The medical at 29 years no matter your age is going to happen. Sgt and Ltâs contract is 4 1/2 years past due. Theyâll get it in 6 months and the FOP will get it when the June 2027 contract expires. Only thing is youâll give up 5 percent instead of the current 3.5 percent.

The 7% is a strange situation and the CTU beat the city on that Years ago during pay negotiations the city agreed to that in lieu of pay increases. Was a good move by CTU because at that point the pay was so much less now that 7% of what $100,000 salary.

why can't CPD have a pension like NYC 20 years and out at 1/2 pay , no minimum age . not sure if they get any assistance with health insurance.

They get full health insurance after 20 years. Most retire and go on to work full time jobs in the city. The last three years of their ot is also pensionable. There are different tiers in the NYPD. The officers that have 27 years or more are in a better tier with better benefits. You can't compare their benefits to ours. Different state, different city. I do know some officers who get a very nice pension check.
for the free insurance , require 29+a day at any age. Allow Officers to leave early. Hire new Officers at half the pay
Make free insurance until medicare with 30 years , no minimum age.
Not only that why not show the subpoena ? The Fop Lodge 7 Board all of them are responsible for this !
