- O/T; Are we not going to talk about Waller promoting Dachae Blanton, one of the dumbest individuals I’ve ever worked with to Deputy Chief of Detectives last Wednesday. Remember when she was acting street deputy and she came up on the radio and denied the request of a bloodhound because the offender wasn’t bleeding. Now the rest of the areas will experience her micromanaging and vindictiveness wrath that area 2 has experienced for the last 5 years! There is no way Bruno is going to be able to control her, she will just play the race card and win… Good luck everyone and buckle up.

I've often wondered the same thing about Mike Barz.
When she was CO of ERPS, she managed to fuck that up too. Not sure if she was in charge when all the sorts of evidence, especially drugs went missing. Not to worry, I'm sure she will live up to the stereotype and hit the medical.

She actually made Sergeant and Lieutenant by score. Say what you want but when she showed up in 005 as a new Sergeant she said she was already studying to be a lieutenant.
What other options are there? They weren’t going to promote a white guy. They are trying to force Lisa A Starks out. She ruined her family name and sold merit promotions. So who else is there? This was the best choice they had. The bench is short.
They should have picked LAS from Area 4 she knows it all. Remember how DB and LAS earned their promotions. It wasnt from “standing up” for what is right.

Eugene Williams. Ever wonder why Eugene so abruptly retired despite being the next possible sup? Barz, while in BIA, found no evidence of wrong doing, even the hard drive from the copy machine then 3 were using to make copies for the other brothers and sisters of NOBLE mysteriously disappeared. It is suspected that Barz has it as his ace in the hole. Another coincidence for Barz was, after he found no evidence of cheating, went from sgt to deputy chief in 4 years? Or was it 3? The statistical probability of the 3 female sgts, who had the CR pulled on them when another sgt observed them studying the test, could score in the top ten after scoring at the bottom of the sgt's test. Well, you can guess what that is. But take comfort in the fact that all 3 of the originally accused were all promoted to exempt ranks. So keep working hard, I'm sure it will get you noticed and promoted.

Even though you filled out your overtime for 12 1/2, she convinced the head time keeper to change everyone’s OT for the whole department and the union refused to fight it even though there was past precedence during summer of St. George Floyd.

Speaking of the D-Unit. Why is it that the only individuals eligible for merit promotion are the Detective Family Liaison personnel, that doesn’t investigate cases? You got it. Family Liaison Detectives are being considered for merit sergeant promotion above the rest of the detectives that bust their butts each day. Just in case you’re aren’t aware, Family Liaisons Detectives are handpicked house mice within the D-Unit that reach out to other detectives’ complainants and inform them of available resources. They also host holiday parties for victims family members. They never make arrests or meet with ASA’s. So basically, they are and extension of CAPS.
TH has been told who to promote meritoriously and which supervisor to replace.
Anything "family liaison" is a scam. Hand-picked, do-nothings that were put in place by the now 1st Deputy. Now they are being rewarded for doing nothing. Might I say "girl power"? A slap in the face to all hard working Detectives.
