New Jail Policy

This just came out a few days ago:
  • Don't forget the new rules for prisoners starting may 1st.

$ has to be heat sealed and signed by 3 people, only one layer of clothing allowed, only 1 ID allowed, couple other things. Of course our administration just caved to all this, even though some of it is against our orders. So I guess at the last minute we will have to do more inventories, can see a lot more duty judges and OT coming.

I can see them charging us to house the prisoners next.

Dept put out a boo but really no other mention of it.

This will be a huge safety issue for the wagons, take them to jail, but get rejected cause they have a t shirt and a sweatshirt on, now they have to take them back to station, feel sorry for the areas and 1st district.
Thanks waller for signing off on this....
So what provoked this change? Could the jail be short-handed at intake?

And what moron agreed to this on CPD's end? Someone who obviously never ever worked lockup or drove a wagon we'd say.

In all my years I have never seen this Department run into the ground as I have seen under the administration of Rahm. Idiots in gov and idiots in the Department.

I'm reminded of the scene in the movie 'Patton' when Patton conducts an inspection and happens upon a sleeping solider and the solider says he is trying to get some sleep. Patton responds by saying, "Well, get the hell back down there, son. You're the only sonuvabitch in this headquarters who knows what he's trying to do."
Seems the cops are the only ones who know what they are doing. Everyone else is fucking the shit up.

So what happens when it is cold and the district doesn't have a lockup? Do they transport the prisoner in a t shirt from 024 to 020? and when they get out do the prisoners walk back to 024 for a jacket? if so I would like to be arrested on the first snow so I can sue the city for the pain of the extreme cold walk that I will take when all my bus money and jackets are back in 024.

Do we just put people in the wagon in the middle of January wearing only one t-shirt?

OK, who doesn't wear a t shirt under their regular shirt? It is getting so bad that our fearless Sgt. will have a heat stroke because all this paperwork will take longer than 20 minutes. You know he's very concerned that flatfoots take too long on their jobs. Go watch your GPS asswipe. Sometimes you have someone that you work for that is just such an ass you can't stand him.

I'll say it again, fuck this shit. The insane people have taken over, the cops won't/can't arrest anyone, if you do, the courts won't incarcerate them, if they do, the jail lets them out as soon as they can. And what is the reason for this insanity? Why, there are brown and black people in jail and it's because of racism. I know it's true, Prickwinkle told me so.

I am so sick of this fucking City, County and State that I just might HAVE to leave to save my own life and sanity.

I would like to introduce a bill before Congress that all convicted violent felons have their IR and FBI numbers tattooed on their foreheads and their lower gums in a contrasting color. In the event that the convicted are later proven innocent, the state will pay for laser removal of the tattoo. Any attempt, successful or unsuccessful, to remove said tattoos will require a prison life sentence with no possibility of parole.

Do any of you readers want me to expound on the implementation of capital punishment? (I didn't think so). I will say that lethal injection is only for terminally ill beloved pets in pain. Rule out the guillotine as too quick and merciful. However, include weekend high noon public executions at city centers to include cable television access.

Today I attended a Funeral for a Dear Friend and Co Worker Lt. David Swan. He was a Thirty Year Cook County Sheriff. Lt David Swan also Served in the Marines. He was a very nice guy that went to work everyday and did his job. He was Proud to be a Cook County Sheriff. He was going to Retire soon. But on 06 April 2017 a Incident occurred and he was the Shift Commander. Lt. David Swan completed the Reports. The Next Day Commander Notified Lt. Swan that he was in trouble and would be Held Accountable and that the Department would maybe ask for Lengthy Suspension time. Lt Swan was so Upset that he became very Nervous that his Retirement would Stalled. The Incident wasn't nothing that Lt. Swan had control over. The Incident was about a Inmate Sitting on a Motorize Cart and hit the Gas Petal and the cart slammed into a Body Scan Machine Damaging the Machine. Lt Swan was never at the Scene and he was still Blamed. On 11 April 2017 Lt. David Swan was so upset that he was being Blamed that he took his Badge and placed it on his Kitchen Table and went to his Bedroom and Shot Himself in the Head killing himself. Today at the Funeral For Lt. David Swan. Lt.David Swan's Father spoke. His father stated that Dave was very Proud to be Cook County Sheriff and that he Became very Fearful that the Cook County Sheriff's Dept has become very Aggressive with Giving Lengthy Suspension time and that he feared that the Commander was going to slam him. He stated the he was a good Son and was taking care of the Family. He stated the Cook County Sheriff Department took his son from him and the Family. Does One Layer of clothing mean shoes with No Socks, or No Shoes with just socks? Did anyone take into account that harsh Chicago winters mean that leaving someone in just a T-shirt in any portion of the transport is an undue hardship. Nobody unless they are high or drunk runs around Shitcaga in just a T-shirt in January or February. Loevy and Loevy, are you listening?

The suburbs have been doing this for a while now. Dart is trying to lessen the responsibility on his end. The department has to hang on to the property while dude is in custody. when we arrest someone, we empty all of their property into their cars, hand it over to friends/family before transporting to station. Lessens the burden of extra work at station with multiple property bags. Dickhead Dart.

++++

Let it be known, that any man who refers to another man as a "hair gel" is the same as a man referring to another man as a "prince." Let it also be known that if this is the case, the name-caller suffers from low testosterone and is a total twink.

I'm sorry, hair gel and prince are the only two insults that make the name caller sound weaker than the name callee. I don't take offense to calling younger guys out for reckless work habits but hair gel is just not a funny put down at all. Someone used it years ago and mouth breathers picked it up thinking it was funny...it's not.

No big deal, the slugs in Central Detention already make it near impossible to get a prisoner back into the lockup. And heaven forbid your prisoner has an eyelash in their eye! You're going to the hospital! Add body cameras to that formula and message received loud and clear.

1 layer of clothing?? Good luck with that. Pookie likes his two pairs of sweatpants underneath his sagging jeans even during the warm months. Don't see the logic in this. How much fucking work is it really for county to deal with the extra layers? That's why they have those L 3 scanners ( like the ones TSA uses at airport) at intake. So I'm guessing this not a security issue with them more like some county administrator is being a little bitch. Why don't you get a handle on your inmates before adding more restrictions to officers. Fuck you and your pizza parties.

Ghetto wagon man.

Two things...
1. I agree with the policy because this way Fart won't have to buy a larger capacity microwave from Vaneco Appliances for the detainees to burn their Brooks Brothers suits..

2. @Rasputin @ 4/18/2017 01:19:00 AM: That damn well better be a pay per view show, priced at 29.95. Early viewers to be able to propose the method of execution for the first two hours, followed by another 90 minutes of voting. Vote by phone for a dollar a vote [this IS Cook County, after all]. A half time show of cage matches beamed directly from the County Hotel at 2700 south California, then three hours for the sentence to be carried out. Throw in a few anti gang, anti drug, anti violence Public Service announcements. Add a gun buy back at Sabina's commercial, and at least one ad for each of the dems running for reelection.

CPD routinely caves in to whatever the County's latest and goofiest directives are.
Why not question this?
Why not tell County "sorry... too cumbersome and impractical on our end"

Then again doing that would make too much sense.... and this is CPD we're talking about.

Excellent suggestion. I have said for years, take one out of prison and hang him from the snout of the piccaso every Friday. Leave him up there until Monday as a sign for others. Grab the assholes tagging and etching and put them in gallows at Federal plaza. Let's keep them for the weekend as well. We could have tourist come see, take a selfie. Moronic Merits of The Department did it again.
Has to be a posturing order, April 30 could be the last day for Jughead ReRun.
Maybe it's the moron take on a "summertime" clothing restriction, since only about 15% of the intakees wear the puffy coat and 4 hoodies beyond May 1st.
Districts are not prepared, they just don't ever have large plastic bags.
More inventories means junk is going to get lost in a shuffle and more CR's will follow.

Empty lockups citywide a could bring back the old days of a district courtroom bond judge or civil magistrate process.
The 5 minute jiffy hearing quick lane to release back thugs back into the streets, why burden 26th & Cal ?
KimFWrinkle's Travelling Social Justice Love Wagon can bring the fair and balanced scales of blind justice to the doorsteps of every district station .

The DilDart's jail policy should just focus on eliminating microwaves, shorties and drugs.

Universal G.O. 07-1(a) : e-Track, Inventory less, Stop Nobody

People get to a point where they think nothing good is ever going to happen again,it builds up or happens in a blink. They decide there is only one solution.I never knew him but you people say he was a former Marine who was a good LT and person. He was already facing the stress of retirement and God only knows what else. Now he decides he has to stay for an investigation of a bullshit number/SPAR form that the rat squad can take a year or two to get off their ass and address or go as planned and have "NOT IN GOOD STANDING" next to his name from now on and no retired button that means everything to a lot in L.E. Dart and his minions don't care but watch the cocks*ckers show up at the wake with a tear in their eye,may they burn in Hell! Watch each others 06 people and if they don't look right ask them about it, If the walls are closing in speak to somebody. God speed and Semper Fi LT, the gates of heaven are guarded by United States Marines !

Been to too many Blue funerals.
