Chicago has nearly DOUBLE the total shot that NYC and LA have COMBINED with a population somewhere near one-quarter of the two other metropolitan areas.

The place where the 9 year old boy was shot is Cabrini Green Townhomes. So, the city and private developers built some really nice townhomes , brand new school buildings. But, nothing has changed, still the animals shoot and kill

Doing a little more math, the numbers mean that there are 8.5 people shot per 10,000 residents in Chicago, 1.4 per 10,000 in LA and .76 per 10,000 in NYC. Which means you are 6X more likely to be shot in Chicago than in LA or 11X more likely to be shot in Chicago than in NYC.

Crime numbers are not consistent. Shootings that take place inside the City of Chicago are not counted because a different Law Enforcement agency handles the job, even though the shooting-homicide occurred within the city limits.
We can not dismiss the fact that more and more victims are not reporting some crimes because they know that the system has failed them and nothing will be done. Job classifications are changed by incompetent bosses in order to keep crime numbers low for their incompetent bosses. A few common examples take the robbery and make it a theft. Take a home invasion and make it a trespassing. Take a car jacking and make it a trespass to vehicle (eliminates the UUW also). That’s why the feds do not use our criminal reporting numbers.
Now the Foxx Effect, she makes no secret that she is refusing to prosecute crimes according to the criminal statutes on the books in this state. She makes up her own as she goes. Furthermore when Police Officers call for approval of charges in support of victims of crime, they are met with the Cook County States Attorney Kimberly Foxx burden of proof. She has no interest in trying a case on evidence, based on her other guidelines probably due to incompetence. Any other evidence (sometimes insurmountable evidence) does not matter. Although a lot is captured on video, sometimes offenders are able to avoid detection, but other evidence (fingerprints, DNA, witness statements) paints a clear picture, but not to Foxx. The other way Foxx is forced to prosecute crime is when a offender just comes in and falls on the sword. Comes to the district and says it was them that committed the crime, but that better be on video also.
So with all of this being said, do you really think the crime number being put in front of the public are accurate?
