2020 Setting Records Everywhere
Building on the post directly above this one, a horrible set of numbers out of Minneapolis:
- The wave of violence sweeping through Minneapolis has left more victims this year so far than the eight of the last ten full years, the Star Tribune reports
Not surprising as Minneapolis was Ground Zero for the false narrative unrest. Guess who is suffering the worst of the violence?
- There have been more shootings so far this year in New York City than in all of 2019.
A 24-year-old man who walked bleeding into Lincoln Hospital in The Bronx on Saturday night has pushed the city’s total number of shootings this year to 777 — topping the 776 recorded in all of last year, NYPD data compiled by The Post reveals.
And it’s only the first days of August, with five more months before the year is over.
That means that every single time there is a shooting in New York City, it's an increase over last year. Even CompStat can't cover-up that fact - there is no "reduction." Everything is an increase in the "year-over-year" statistics.

Off topic for a quick moment,over 500 complaints have been made regarding the Norridge/Harwood Heights COVID Testing Site at Harlem and Forest Preserve Drive since the National Guard left the site.All of the complaints are from local residents who initially registered,pulled into a long line,and then decided that it was way too long of a wait and went home without being tested.Each resident that was not tested received a POSITIVE COVID Test result within 72 hours after not being tested.This house of cards is going to come tumbling down.
I like the Minneapolis chart but my question is this: does the white category include white-Hispanics - the liberal news likes to subcategorize but I just get confused - just say’n.

Minneapolis won’t have to worry about defunding the police. They are on pace to lose 1/3 of the department (250+ cops out of 800+) by the end of the year due to retirements, resignations and disability retirements.

I’m former MPD (7 years) work in the suburbs now. One of the smaller suburbs recently posted for 1 position and 56 current Minneapolis cops applied!! All the suburbs are seeing a dramatic increase in applications from Minneapolis cops trying to leave that rathole. I have a sister that lives in Minneapolis and I feel bad for her but it is what it is.

I read a Forbes article this morning that pointed out that Red cities are having a large uptick in shootings as well. They just never mention that 95% of the murders are in the Democrat parts of the city.

Did I mention that I'm probably about to move away from the area? South Dakota and Tennessee are the current front runners, with the final decision likely being based on which one makes the best job offer(s). Thanks to the light rail system that they're putting the finishing touches on, not even the burbs will be safe from what's coming. Neighboring counties like the one I live in might be okay in the short term, but it's clear that MSP will, like Chicago, drag the rest of the state down in a few years. Better to get out while the getting is good, I say.

A previous poster mentioned light rail. I live in Edina, and fortunately it will not go through Edina. Other suburbs such as Eden Prairie fought it, as they know from experience that the light rail will just bring crime to their areas. Edina is a nice suburb, but it's infested with many liberals as well. The Edina City Council has a diversity director and similar crap now. Just a waste of taxpayer money.
The bodycam footage of the arrest of George Floyd was leaked to the UK Daily Mail. The court is trying to get them to take it down, so if you don't see it now, you probably won't.

The crime situation in Minneapolis, New York City and Chicago is sad.
I worked near there for three years and was glad to be on the Wisconsin side.
Minneapolis in particular does not fund public safety as it is. I could give lots of examples but I'll settle on just one. When the I-35 bridge collapsed a few years ago, we were watching TV and it was reported that Minneapolis sent all of its 22 or 23 fire trucks to the scene. My wife turned to me and said, "Is that all they have? We have that many around Kenosha."
They must have one hell of a coach... fatalities are maintain at the current increase while I bet you the number to stray bullets have decreased!
Why doesn’t our Superintendent tell the whole story , CPD recovered over 6,000 guns , made 1,000’s of arrests .
Then list the % that felony charges were denied , % of offenders released on I Bond , Electronic Monitoring , % that we’re arrested while out on bond , em or probation . Now the real number , how man6 are doing hard time , receiving the maximum sentence ?
Also list offenders arrested by race , age .
