New Chiefs, filing empty spots or replacements? Because there are too many as it stands.

This will likely be a further disaster.

OMG! I truly hope the rumors are true! Superintendent Larry Snelling and his Command Staff will go down in history as leaving the historic Chicago Police Department in shambles! Morale has never been so bad! I along with fellow officers are just trying to make it to retirement. Many officers plan on retiring with the minimum years possible. The current leadership has recked the department with awful policies and lack of direction. I would love it if the subordinates could evaluate the leadership or so-called leadership!
T.Vega will be made a commander after summer it will last for a year. She will then be a deputy chief under the new regime. It’s all been decided already for her. She was on the fast track to the top but something happened. Her penance has been paid and she’s back on the fast track.

The biggest problem with Jody Weiss was he listened to some of the past idiots on this department , such as Ray Hamilton. He should have brought in a lot of his own people. He trusted the past upper command staff of this department and they burned him with bad advice. The Cozzi thing was all at the request of Mayor Daley. Without Jody we wouldn’t have rifles, cargo pants, molle vests, striker fire guns, such as Glock Jody at least tried to modernize this department and made the city fight the law suits and pushed for a signed affidavit on all complaints against officers, if the complainant didn’t sign then no cr number. The dude actually cared was just given bad advice from the people he was supposed to trust. Should have brought in his own people.
