You Get What You Vote For
This isn't difficult to figure out....unless you're a moron:
Jenna Klotz was walking in Lakeview this fall when she spotted the stranger who had punched her days earlier. And for the third time that week, she called police.
Officers eventually found the man, Leon Jackson, on Surf Street. By then, Klotz knew his name. In a tense and emotionally charged moment, officers asked Klotz a question she still struggles with months later: What did she want them to do?
“I basically was not sure what I was supposed to do,” Klotz said. “But I felt very strongly that this is something that I can’t ignore, because what about the next person after me?”
Months later, Klotz still thinks about that encounter and worries about who might be next, she said.
The answer is simple:
- sign complaints
- show up in court
- insist on an appropriate sentence according to existing laws
Then, if the judge or states attorney don't follow the law as written, start making noise, campaigning against current office holders, advocating for victims, not falling for the pandering to criminals.
In other words, stop being a dumb ass democrat and voting for dumb ass democrats who support the offenders over the victims.

I’m sure the officers were extremely helpful in explaining her choices. The actual horror of having to do paperwork. I’m happy to know that she decided to press charges regardless.

Liberals are more devoted to their religion of liberalism than they have common sense. I told this story here once before my good buddy is oak park PD. Years ago they catch a usual suspect who broke into the home/garage of a couple while they were asleep. Couple refused to press any charges in fact kept lamenting about how there is more they wish they could have done for him and how it wasn’t his fault and he must have really needed the stolen items. Liberals blame themselves. “He must have been having a bad day he must have really needed my phone and my car… I’d hate to be the reason another individual of color gets put in jail…”
Lakeview is full of liberals. Liberals this is what you voted for.
Lakeview also has a lot of pro black lives matter and zero blue lives matter supporters. Lakeview has plenty of "hate has no home here" front yard signs.

She signed complaints and went to court. What else did you want her to do? And people who have not been victims of crime don’t always know exactly what their legal choices are at the moment it happens. Instead of being lazy asses, maybe officers could explain those choices on the scene to someone who might be traumatized by getting hit in the head.
Maybe not knowing what to do is because she had never been the victim of a crime… give her some credit. She went through the whole process and the guy is still out there. That’s not on her. But it does help explain why some victims get disgusted and give up on the process.
The headline of the story says all you need to know about the state of liberals' minds. The fact they have to seriously ask what the problem is means nothing will change anytime soon. How many officers try and talk victims out of signing complaints so they dont have to make an arrest? Happens all the time. Then they tell the victims the detectives will follow up on it later. " Can we get a lunch now squad??"

Story a week ago here in Houston goes...people heard loud noises next door and observed an unknown male kicking down their neighbors door. Two teenagers gave pursuit of the burglar who fled in his car. They followed the burglar who finally stopped his car and exited with a handgun. The two teens who had grabbed their father's guns responded by shooting and killing the armed burglar. No charges filed against the teenagers. And Texas is looking for any assets from the dead burglar to file a lien to force repair of the door...
I could never be police, because when she said "I don't know what to do" I would have asked, "What would you do if he were white?" No question, she would have filed charges in a heartbeat.
I blame the public schools for her not knowing what to do, they've been trying to indoctrinate everybody into coddling the criminals.

can we have at least a limit of one vagrant per 4 square blocks and a limit of one liberal punched in the face per vagrant per sector per week? We should create a commission and a committee and a review panel for each sector. If an unhoused victim of systemic racial oppression suffering from the legacy of racism exceeds their legally allotted limit of one punch per week, the regulatory commission, upon review, can mandate that, due to lack of crisis intervention, the victim, (formerly known as the offender), must be taken in by the offender, ( formerly known as the victim). If the person in mental health related crisis finds the accommodations adequate, they can have the regulatory commission sign over the title, deed, or lease and take possession of the host's belongings and the liberal democrat can go occupy the nearest park bench or bus stop shelter in their stead. Not only did she sign complaints, she attended hearings and court. Maybe you should read the linked story before you assume she did not follow through. It’s not her fault that this asshole is still out there. She did her part.
Telling the same story over and over again isn’t exactly persuasive.
If you’ve never been a victim, you might not know exactly how the pursuit of charges works.
The stores can still post the no guns signs and the firearm owners are required to abide by it. They will have to ask for an exception.
They are always looking for an excuse, usually a stupid excuse, to be themselves.
Lakeview, Lincoln Park, and Rogers Park all overwhelmingly voted for BLM Brandon.
They all deserve the wrath of hell. Allow them to suffer.

How you you know she's a liberal democrat? Maybe the beat officers shrugged it off and talked her out of signing a complaint. You can expect a civilian to know what the procedures are. "Miss, since we didn't see the offense take place, you'll need to sign a complaint, appear in court and the prosecutor will interview you. Without all those things, he'll be free to punch another innocent person. We encourage you to sign as a complaining witness."
