Good Shooting

Seems Special Operations killed a man with a gun last night sometime down near Bronzeville. All PO's reported to be OK and the round table went well. Good job people.

On a more serious note,a tremendous job was done by those involved in the shootng and a great job by A1 and a shout out to the gold stars who responded on scene. Professionalism was at its best and the Bosses treated the P.O's like humans.

Know the guys involved... the SOS guys are top notch, even their sergeant (Wiberg) and the A1 guys who handled the round table are some of the best there... Glad everyone made it home

Wiberg must have picked up the leadership "gene" from daddy. Ask him where he scored on the last dec test and then ask him who basically wrote that test? MMMMM...Then ask him who was the biggest dog-ass dec to darken the doors of A/4 in the last ten years. Ask him who was the dec that did nothing but beef, "I can't wait to be a sgt" before a test was even given. Be sure to give him a mirror before he answers any of those questions. He couldn't lead five whores to a John with a pocket full of blows.

The offender/dead guy was number three in charge of the Gangster Disciples in that area. But they will show his eight grade graduation picture and tell you he was a pillar of the community.

To 6:36 am posting. U r a fuckin idiot. U must not even know the kid and if he did get the leadership gene from his daddy, thank God. Yes he scored well on both tests and both tests were written by his dad exclusively. His dad also got in his shooting for him a few years back. He even drives him to work everyday. Do u know how ridiculous u sound. He is one of the best Sgt.'s in SOS who does great police work and takes care of coppers like nobody else. U should be so lucky as to work for him. Those guys did a great job and u want to take the time to darken a glorious moment. What is ur claim to fame hero. Keep up the good work boys and ignore this fuckin clown.

Glorious?

Behold!!

Revel in this "glorious" moment and pinnacle of police work! The planets were aligned! The temperature was just right (not too hot, not too cold!).

Was it fate?
Were there other factors beyond our understanding at play?

Who can say what it was that brought together this dredge to society and the galliant SOS crusaders led by Grand Commodore Wiberg galloping in on his white horse?

Justice prevailed!!

We will live to see another sunrise!

Women wept in the street with joy!

Young children brought them flowers at the round table!

There is talk of the villagers erecting a statue in the village square!

Songs will be written about this glorious triumph!

Somebody got killed over dope on the South Side. Better them than us, but to call this a "glorious" occaision is a little sick.

The officers did thier job and someone had to die. This was good police work and an unfortunate outcome. Making this out to be anything more reflects bad on us as a Department (almost as much as the language of your post does. Its no surprise we have such little respect from the public given the way posters on this site carry on like a bunch of high-schoolers.)

TO 6:59PM When one Police officer saves another Police officers life by deadly force or not, that constitutes a glorious moment in my book. The thug got killed because he pointed a loaded gun at one of our brothers, not over dope you idiot! So get on your high horse and ride to the dead thugs wake and tell them how he had decided to change his ways and become a piller of society after he finished this one last piece of business and that not to hate the police.

Hey you recruits , you can sum this shooting up with just two words: "URBAN RENEWAL."

I guess even the South side is entitled to some gentrification.

I must respond to this even though I don't want to..........First of all there is nothing glorious about taking someone's life, but there is, no matter the circumstance, glory in saving the life(lives) of other police officers. No matter the circumstance, whether it be dope (believe it not that is police work because all dope leads to violent crime, i.e. Gang Violence), or any other police action. I know people talk alot of shit about wanting to get in that one shooting, but really no one wants to be put in that position. Look at it for the positive, all the police officers involved left safe and sound and the bad guy carrying a loaded H&K Usp45 did not leave the same.

We as police officers do not go to work looking to kill someone, we look to go home at the end of the tour, but if it takes doing the first to get to the second, then so be it! To all you naysayers out there, walk in someone's shoes who's actually been in that position, then ask them if they would take it back if they could (with the contention that the circumstances did not allow for a fellow police officer to hurt/injured/killed), and I'm sure they WOULD, without any hesitation.

To 2:02am If you don't work in 018,then what the fuck do you care who eats there or not? And what are you doing eating there out of your district? Same as SOS, enjoying a decent meal and looking at eye candy-so shut your fuckin' pie hole! Can't we all just get along?
