Hey FOP? Fix this!

FOP Lodge 7 Current Updates website page has a link up for Illinois Retired Police Officers Concealed Carry qualifications - but the link is dead. It doesn't lead anywhere.

This is the correct link

Just thought we'd let you guys know, seeing as how Mark Donahue was kind enough to mention us at the last FOP General Meeting. Someone let Rich Aguilar know? Thanks.
UPDATE: FOP has now fixed their link. Good to know our readers include the FOP Board (or that our readers care enough to let the FOP know). How about another shout out to us at the next General Board Meeting? Thanks!

"Someone let Rich Aguilar know"? Click on the link on the FOP website to send him a message yourself. That's what its there for. One typo and you're all over him. Jeez SCC, lighten up.

We don't respond to e-mail and we don't send e-mail as a general rule. Too easy to trace stuff.

It was a friendly correction - we linked to the FOP site and directed coppers to the correct IL RPOCC site. What's the problem? We weren't "all over" anybody. We've made dozens of errors on this site and when they're pointed out, we correct em.

Maybe FOP will return the favor and link to us one day.

I personally don't feel that a site administrator should be anonymous, unless you are working an inside job at 35th, or some spot inside or something. A real Patrolman wouldn't care. Is there a general reason why such a enigma?

Hey Shady, what ur opinion about Bilandic being on the Ill Supreme Ct. supposedly elected?

Like I thought, just beef about the republicans w/o participating in a regular discussion based on fact based positions, mopinons, beliefs w/o the hate. YOU MUST UNLEARN WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED TO BEAT THE DARK SIDE.

He can't post a POLICE ORIENTED OPINION because he's never been the police.

Steve, "Mark is a god" Robbins threw FOP's wallet into the pension board race. He is $5,000.00 richer to run against other FOP members who got nothing. Same Robbins who lost as a trustee on the city wide team!! Best of all he SUPPORTED the 23.8 million give back to the city of OUR pension money! Yea he is the guy to put on the Pension Board if Mark is your GOD!!!

If I have something to say, I will leave my name, like now. Please spell it correctly next time. It is entertaining reading but I don't know officer Robbins personally and can't comment on his choice of God. I can comment that I'm funding my campaign by working side jobs on furlo. Good luck to all the candidates.

Yes, John, but your wife said that the FOP was right to endorse Steve Robbins and that he was a great guy. We heard it at the meeting. Was that you, blue in the face, when she said it?

Deal with the issue! Robbins backed the give back of OUR pension money to the city!! You want Robbins you vote for him, but at least deal with the issue instead of avoiding the question. What does Robbins say!! Nothing, Mark won't let him.

Well spoken, as a FOP board Member Steve Robbins did vote "YES" to forgive 23.8 million in pension debt. It is in the records of the board meeting.
The wife mearly pointed out that the FOP neglected to inform the membership that up to$5000.00 of our dues go with the Endorsement.
Patronage and cronyism at it's best! Look at the committee's!
I am an independent! No political endorsements!

Ken Hauser the current pension board rep for active members is on record as informing Mark and Robbins that the All the elected pesion reps signed a letter stating they were AGAINST the give back and there was no reason to do it. Suckass Donahue wanted to look good in the eyes of the "mayor" because someday this "merit detective" might actually have to work the street instead of the banquet halls!!!
