Australian Predicts the Future

From our 07 February ramblings:

• Trust a guy from "Down Under" to explain to the western media organizations what two faced, biased outlets of "news" they truly are:
  
• "They won't publish cartoons, but they will run anything they can get out of Abu Ghraib. Both sets of images provoke Islamic anger; note how the media behaves when that anger is directed at them."

Sure enough, today, the media digs up more Abu Ghraib photos and releases them. This incident occurred more than two years ago. People went to jail over it. There were trials and everything. Why keep bringing it up? Oh yeah, it incites muslims! And that might make BushCo look bad! And the "blame America first" crowd gets a shot in the arm!

So, it's wrong if we bring up Ted Kennedy, Clinton, Carter, etc., because we are living in the past and won't just "move on" with our lives, but the left can bring up a closed case where actual people went to jail for actual crimes for the next decade and blame Bush/Cheney for everything that is screwed up in the Middle East - right?

And speaking of hypocrites, the vice president waited almost a full day to notify the Washington press corps about his hunting accident? Big deal. Harry Reid, minority leader of the senate waited 3 FULL DAYS to tell anyone he had suffered a stroke. We can relate hundreds of incidents where CPD did all sorts of stupid shit and didn't once notify the press. It was an accident people - hell, Lefty should be happy a Republican lawyer got shot. There is no regulation that says anyone has to do a reporters work for them and tell them everything that happens every minute of every day. If the reporters were doing their job, they should have been near the hunting area and noticed that the ambulance that follows Cheney everywhere WENT TO A DAMN HOSPITAL and started asking questions about the VP that might have, oh we don't know, revealed this information a little sooner? Maybe? Hey media? Do your jobs and quit whining.
