Midway Expansion Rumors
- City officials have issued a cease and desist letter after a real estate agent sent out notices to homeowners near Midway International Airport saying their homes might soon be condemned. The Department of Aviation said the notices were sent to homeowners by a broker from a Northwest Side Century 21 office who offered to help homeowners find a new residence.
The city officials also asked Century 21 to stop parking bulldozers in the alleys and driving front end loaders up and down the block.

The truth is they are going to clear a path from Midway to O'Hare and make one big airport.
Bulldoze all those homes around Midway! Its just a dump! Land of Hillbillies! The southside is just closed factories and dumpy houses.

Hillbillies? Where did you get that from? The majority here are cops, fireifghters and city workers, with Garfield Ridge having some kick ass bungalows that are quite expensive! In addition, they have the cleanest streets around.
Many of the neighborhoods have changed, but this area has stayed intact: no walmarts, targets, etc but hard working mom and pop stores as well as cop owned places.
KUDOS TO THE MIDWAY AREA
Midway will be bought out by Seiser. He runs it! He will make Millions out of those silly city workers that think they are safe there! Daley has wanted that land for 20 years and Seiser will get it for him. What's in it for Seiser, A MERIT PROMOTION plus a car. Sell now while you can still get top dollar, cause in two years you'll be crying you eyes out when your property is bought out for pennies on the dollar! Seiser runs it, don't you know.
We will be waiting for Seiser when he comes, then you will see what he is, or where he will be running. lol

That's Bedford Park, not Chicago.
Also, it's Garcia Ridge not Garfield Ridge!
Think what you meant to say is 63rd to 65th Street and Central to Cicero. Dont forget about south of the tracks from the new Parking lot (approx Laramie) follow that around to about the park on Central.
I saw the Model about 2 years ago. City already owns the chunk of land the body shop sits on north of 55th Street.
Eminate domain letters were already sent out to some of the houses on Parkside.
Just wait to see how Central is re-routed. City is waiting for Federal funding for the bridge over the Railroad property taking Central from about 67th to about 76th Street in Burbank.
So all of you European-Americans know: I am African American thus I am entitled to a LINK card. I also receive Section-8 housing vouchers. It is only logical that more whites are on welfare being that 75% of the population is white. Whites make up 38.8% of those on welfare. Blacks make up 37.2% of those receiving welfare while only accounting for 12.3% of the population.
You ask about Bedford Park! The city can take that land in a New York Minute. LOOK at Bensonville. A large chunk going to the city thru eminent domain. Sure they will pay for the land, but the point is they can take pretty much whatever they want and call it airport expansion. The main streets will be underground tunnels with runways overhead. The business"s along 65th in Bedford Park will be bought up and turned into air freight terminals. Nothing is impossible and Daley knows it, just ask him about Meigs, gone overnight. Wake up southside, Daley does what he wants.
Why take the land of Bensenville for airport expansion? Just bulldoze Rosemont instead. Add Park ridge to the north. Screw these cry-baby suburbs.
Or we could just dock some old Aircraft Carriers in the Desplaines River. Works for me.
