A Number to Take Notice Of
According to the Sun Times today during yesterday's Illegal Immigrant March, 85% of students were absent from Farragut High School. Eighty Five Percent. Whether or not that is a true and accurate reflection of students who are illegal, student who support illegals or students who took advantage of the march is unknown. What ought to grab everyone's attention is that YOU (by way of taxes and services) are being stuck with a large portion of the bill to educate the children of illegals.

- Hospital emergency rooms across the southwest would have about 20-percent fewer patients, and there would be 183,000 fewer people in Colorado without health insurance.

- Colorado's jails and prisons would have 10-percent fewer inmates, and Denver and many other towns would not need to build so many new jails to accommodate the overcrowding.
- Youth gangs would see their membership drop by 50 percent in many states, and in Phoenix, child-molestation cases would drop by 34 percent and auto theft by 40 percent.
Again, this isn't a racial issue and anyone who tries to make it one is merely a race baiter and an ignorant one at that. Every single citizen in this country is a descendant of immigrants - even the "native Americans" came from somewhere else. Immigrants made this country great. But uncontrolled illegal immigration is a slow growing cancer that drains resources and deprives legal citizens of opportunities. It's time to shut off the flow.

Looks like were buffering and fueling money loads to Corporations, all over, Unions, Lobbyist and wanna be Pols, and last Mexico's economy. My basis for addressing Mexico is due to reported averages along with common knowledge of connected border.
Apparently Mexico still remains in disarray due to corruption. Vicente Fox is trying to make a name for himself. The ticket he ran under was PAN Rightest National Action Party. He has an idea of a third way of polictics, more research needed here.
I feel two things need to be addressed first.
1. Enforce the law on corporations hiring practices and documentations. No nonsense stance.
2. Secure the Borders.
Then we can move into addressing true immigrant issues as to who's here, on what type of visa, or permit, how long and whose sponsoring. The issues of medical care and education are court cases much like bilingual education. I'm not for the forced double rule Spanish biligual right factor. I feel English should be our offical lanuage. I feel as strongly on the desecration of our American Flag.
Again, once upon a time in this great country, MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of European immigrant's flooded the east coast, and entered this country illegally.
Now its their turn and my fellow European American's are pissed off?
I think, and its just an opinion, folk's are a little scared that hundred's of thousand's of immigrant's can get together for their concern's, and we don't.

Having millions of new people flood into the country puts strains on existing healthcare, educational, and public service infrastructures that their wages do not pay for. At leat the old immigrants learned to speak the local lingo without demanding they be catered to and receive special treatement. If they truly want to be citizens here, why is their first act one that shows contempt for American laws? How do they demand the same rights as people who have lived here and worked for those benefits? They need to show hwere their true allegiance is. If they want to be citizens, prove it and follow the laws.

1. Tighten the borders!
2. CLEAR act
3. Stiff penalties for companies that hire them
4. for SSA and IRS to disclose irregular or no-match social security numbers and inform the victims

Time to start making huge numbers of traffic stops and determine the status of the driver/occupants. Profiling will be a non issue if you use a little ingenuity and common sense. Since it is required to show your Social Security Card when obtaining a driver's license, it should be mandatory to carry both as a priviledge to live and drive in this country. Time to get busy America and stand up to what may appear to be a larger problem in the future. Check those insurance cards. I'm sure your as disgusted as I when the illegal aliens have no insurance when they crash into your vehicle. Any one out there say who is responsible for all this chaos? Just want some feedback.

That's a bit narrow thinking on your part. Not all Hispanic's approve or agree with the illegal's claim to fame. How many have gone through the process and the long wait to citizenship to become American citizens? How many in the rolls through proper procedures have been waiting out their time to be sworn in? Why should they or any other immigrant going through the lawful process watch other's jump infront of them. There is a door and it's called The Border Point of Entry aka Gate, where you also wait in line. Laws are on the books for a reason. Illegal is just that and it's a simple word to boot.
Get off your band wagon. People who follow the law, will not fall for this type of B.S. rhetoric. Those that do are UN-AMERICAN and doing a disservice to this country.

It was not shame, it was pride in the belief of assimilation being American and embracing it. The lanuage line broke away because of their beliefs not due to plain ignorance. My grandparents and their parents spoke another tongue, their concern was seeing to that their children were able to be able to progress into the new world. Concentrate on the issue's about less educated illegals and the pressure it places on our country's economy. Look at the politics that are being played. Were talking about illegals in a tight job market and unemployed Americans. How can you compare yourself with that.
