If We Only Had ...
- An Aurora man was sentenced to more than five years in prison on Wednesday after pleading guilty to several felony charges, including kicking a police officer in the groin during a traffic stop, according to a release from the Kane County State's Attorney's office.
And it gets better:
- Pryor later accused an officer of misconduct during the stop, an accusation that, after investigation, was determined to be false and prompted the perjury charge, the release said.
Nice to see someone takes the "Sworn Affidavit" bill seriously and charges the liars with it.

Nice, but will never happen in Chicago/Cook county with the pus$eys they give us for State Attorneys
Unlike Crook County, they love their police.
Yes, if we only had some sense of justice in Cook County, but.....realize that 1) we deal in a volume business (thousands of reports, crimes, arrestees); 2) there is "no room at the inn", i.e., C.C. Jail, for those who deserve to be in there (by the way, the largest municipal jail facility in the nation); 3) the political factors, in that a) the S.A. wants to keep his conviction rate high, via felony review, and b) African-Americans vote overwhelmingly Democratic, and so the S.A. walks the line between being "tough on crime" and not prosecuting "weak" cases (with the Burge shadow still haunting Cook County politics); 4) Chicago and Cook County government are still in control of the Democratic party; their servants are rewarded and benefit from jobs, services, and contracts. Power and control are paramount; dispensing justice and fairness are minimal at best, and....they know, the voters are just sheep....
what a world we live in.....
I never get upset in court anymore! Thats because I wont make an arrest unless I get signed complaints. Im much happier now. Fuck em and feed em beans! Why make yourself crazy. The city and states attornys office are a useless pair.
I wonder if the State Attorney in Aurora has a son. If he does, I wonder if him and his whole Tact team scored really good on the dicks test out there.......hmmmm
The S/As in Cook county are useless. They want everything presented to them all tied up in a neat package. They have no investigative skills whatsoever.
They cannot make a decision on their own but have to call a supervisor (Darren) for approval. Then they try and tell you to charge the offender with a misdemeanor. I usually tell them if you wont charge them then I will release them W/O charging.
This drives them nuts because it puts the focus on them instead of blaming the Police.
The ASA's in felony review are idiots.... without exception they believe they are doing their job by trotting out impossible standards by which they determine if a case is should be felony approved.....you my friend have 48hrs to put it all together and present your case...to these brillant Harvard law School graduates....don't bother clogging the pipeline with anything too difficult....the ASA's little heads will spin...god forbid they really grow up to be lawyer's and have to really try a case...think about it how many of your cases have gone to trial and how many just die a slow death by continuences...they should make Dick Devines kid a Detective...I wondr if his felony approval rating is ....lets see....100%....yeah the justice system is for real all right..........
FELONY REVIEW: They get a lot of flak from us and rightly so but the real culprit is Bob Milan, the 1st Asst,State's Attny. He is totally clueless and even worse, a political capon. He is behind the all the problems with Felony Review.
The ONLY thing that these political hacks understand is the threat of getting kicked out of office........VOTE REPUBLICAN
