How Could This Happen?
- A 17-year-old man was reportedly shot to death Wednesday night after shaking hands with the gunman on a Near West Side street.
The man was shot in the back after shaking hands with a man, believed to between 18 to 20 years old, in the 1100 block of North Wolcott Avenue about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
The gunman is unknown, but the shooting is possibly gang-related, police said.
A shooting? In Chicago? Well, we certainly hope that this fine young altar boy and honor student's family sues the mayor and the city at large. After all, there isn't supposed to be any more gun violence on the streets after over 6,000 guns were taken off the streets. At least that's the impression we got from all the publicity.
Anyone have the rate of homicides that show before and after? Any change? Or was the gun turn-in just another illusion of attacking the problem?

Has anybody ever checked to see if weapons taken off the street once belonged to police officers? How many guns once owned by cops end up in the wrong hands?

How could this happen? OMG the mayor gave away more tax money and this still happens oh no! maybe alderidiot MUNOZ gave another gun away! Like Father like Son both assholes Munoz and Munoz we are assholes and how!
Considering this piece of shit victim was standing on the property of CPS (actually he and his friends were on the jungle gym on the west end of the school playlot) when the m/1 offender approached on the sidewalk and engaged the victim in conversation (actually all they said to eachother was they were both Latin King's and the streets they were affiliated with) and then they hugged-how touching.
What makes this a beautiful story??? Well readers and liberals-when the victim turned his back the offender then shot him! Awesome! But wait.... what makes it even better is the 6 plus witnesses (mostly girls) refused to cooperate and it was our (Area4) pleasure to let them go.
Lets all cross our fingers boys and girls the offender can eliminate some more of his fellow Kings before he gets arrested in a seat belt mission.

sounds like a great idea ill turn in all my duty related weapons as lomg as i get a duty related assault rifle registered to me so i can effectively do my job ill keep it right here in my hall closet so my three kids wont go near it and i know there friends wont either
on another note instead of a pistol effectively (operator dependent) taking someone out at 100' with the assault rifle i can nail someone at 200 yards great idea submitted by someone totally without a clue because as anyone with half a brain knows violent weapon offenders dont surrender their guns and there are national laws as well as state/local laws regarding possession of firearms and we all know how effective they are
