I'm going to be interviewing Brown on my radio show on Friday between 1700-1800 on WJJG am 1530, about what kind of response he got to his column. I'd love to know what you thought, and if you link to it, what kind of comments it brings.

What is a WJJD? Is this an acronym for something? Also, what or who is Dave Haynes? Is this like a college radio station prank or something?
What options are available to officers keeping the city safe? Officers cannot complain to management. They are involved and part of the problem. Clout stops any real investigations until the crime is so overt that states attorney or feds become involved. How can this corruption continue unless there is covert cooperation from exempt members? Do not attack the working officers but go after leadership. or are you afraid to challenge leaders and politicans, mark?
Officers do show their fury over the idiots. Read this blog and listen to them on the street. They are right about management not doing anything and letting it blow up in their face. But then again, they are not part of the case so hence they don't care. Are any upper management going to take time for shoving the court deviations under the rug? No. Is anyone at IAD going to take time to letting an investigation go for 8 years and paper work gets mysteriously lost? No. There is no accountability for an exempt (supt. exception) or the front office and there never will be. Will we have another SOS scandal? Yes.
I'll tune in.
Any cop that has enough balls to have a radio show under his own name, I'll listen. I might tell him he's full of shit, but I'll listen.

I've listened to this program before and found it to be very well done. Specifically Dave Haynes is a class act and speaks intellegently to the issues. I urge the posters that make rude and thoughtless comments to take a lesson from what appears to be a very stand up guy. Keep up the great work, Dave!
Why did he single out the police. Never saw him challenge doctors, lawyers, politicians, teachers, etc to speak out against their own. How about judges who fixed murder trials, no challenghe to have other judges speak out or today Beavers and Stroger in the hiring scam of Beavers GF Dont see Brown challenging their County Board members, allies and supporters to speak out against them
