Lawsuit - Again
Didn't we cover this one before? And we assumed there would be a lawsuit. There is:
- Chicago police say a man who died after they tried to subdue him with a taser was high on cocaine.
- The family of Geffrey Johnson said excessive police force played a role in his death.
But why did the police show up? Why on earth would they suddenly appear at someone's house and use a TASER on people?
- Johnson's mother called police to her South Side home in the 8100 Block S. Green on August 4 because he was breaking mirrors and damaging property.
No surprises here - sued for doing your job with the tools the City provides. Expect TASERs to be taken away before long.

No way taser has yet to lost a law suit. The city may lose (because their lawyers suck) But taser has the juice. Buy there stock taser dont kill people whatever there on does.

TASER was designed for todays skilless and weak officer.
The police did nothing wrong. Blame the deceased for his use of cocaine.
We need to start charging these assholes a surcharge for calling us and putting us in the middle of their DRAMA predicated by their irresponsible lifestyle activities!
My family pet is better trained and behaves more civilized then these "mopes in the hood!"

I was trained for the Taser but then they took it away.Hell I even got zapped in the class and I'm still breathing.I don't care if they ban it totally because I don't use it anyway and by the time it arrives when needed, it's usually all over.
Should sue the drug dealer that furnished the coke. Everyone knows that dealers have a ton of money. There should have been a warning label or disclaimer that came with the coke packet explaining its dangers if not used as intended or if used in amounts not recommended.
Fuck dude. He died, it's unfortunate but it's his fault. He brought it on himself. We got called their because he was acting a fool. The police were threatened by dude that was irate and they used a taser prior to using fists, baton or duty weapon. He had drugs in him and unfortunately he died. End of story. Fuck the city if they end up settling.
Of course it is the fault of the police that their crazy and cocaine addled son had to be Tasered and subsequently died. Bet the police forced him to smoke that rock also that in fact killed him. Who else can they blame that has deep pockets and can be sued. Maybe the family should look at themselves and accept some responsibility for what happened. Old saying."If you ain't playing with all of the cards you shouldn't be burning the ones that you have."

Oh sure, a Sergeant might have one but if you call him for it:
a) he will either be in the station, eating somewhere or generally just too far off when you need it right away!
b) no way in hell will he show up and use it because he knows he will open himself up for litigation.
The working PO's will never get them, stick to boots in their ass and up it to the handgun if needed.

I'm just a civilian reader scc and I read the article in the Suntimes. What the fuck do these people expect you to do when your called. The guy is out of control, high on God knows what and your being acused of police brutality. TOTAL BULLSHIT. I think the officers responding used remarkable restraint given this numb nuts was busting up the home. Then I read Jesse Jackson gets on his fucking bandwagon as usual and claims police brutality. Gimme a break!!! I say fuck them all, the next time there is a domestic disturbance call, send action jackson and his side kick sharpton to reason with the good citizen!Let's see how he handles it!!

Are they apoligizing and commending the officers for protecting the lives and property of the citizens they were called to serve??? Were these fine officers that did the duty just happened to be other than M/1's ? I feel a roll call apology in order here. I know the press now reads this daily, so how bout it? Hmm...i'll help .."God Squad falls off pulpit, police have been cleared" !!!
I think the family should be awarded a double saw buck and a case of remy martin.

Sorry troll but they do work just as advertised, they HAVE decreased injuries to offenders and to officers. Taser was designed to keep the officers from needless injury fighting these offenders and to keep these offenders from getting their heads cracked open etc.
