That investigation centered around a copper who owned the joint.

If Terezi got his job back, I swear I'm finally done. He got caught red handed, FINALLY, and still beats the case. Just wow. One more case of the police board being a complete farce. Sorry, but this is the 4th pure criminal, GUILTY, shitbag that was saved by the police board that I know of.

An Elk Grove Village massage parlor that was shut down last week for allegedly offering a sexual favor to an undercover police officer surrendered its business license Monday before it was to face a hearing by a new review commission.
Village officials Wednesday suspended the business license of the Higgins Spa, 830 E. Higgins Rd., after a female employee was arrested Nov. 2 for offering a sexual favor at the end of a massage, said Mayor Craig Johnson.
The 54-year-old Lombard woman was charged with prostitution, police said.

If you are serious about this topic, analyze what has happen to recruiting within CPD and quality of recruits. We have recruits with a 4 year degree that have the reading level at 10th grade. Recruits are tested by Harold Washington College for their reading level and the results are shocking. Also, majority of degreed applicants fail the power test or drug test. The rate of failure among applicants with degrees is very high. On the other hand military veterans are very successful withing the academy and on the street. A recruit who just earned a degree, never held a job find academy life hard. Yet military verterans are far more successful. College is not the ultimate answer. Better screening, training and FTO program is the solution.

I have to disagree with you,this is one of the few professions where a degree is'nt necessary to become a patrolman.Nor does a 4 year degree make you a better/smarter police officer.All of the universities in this country can not make/teach you to be a good police officer,sure they can teach you about state/local laws but its all book learning.
Learning to be a good police officer comes more from the heart than what your taught in school.It's a combination of day to day life experiences that you pick up each day you work the street,and the lessons you learn from the people you work with on a dailey basis,some good and some bad.Hopefully you will learn to differentiate between the two and make it work to your advantage.
Some of the most educated people that I've dealt with as a P/O where dumber than a box of rocks when it came to basic day to day living,(The wonderful population of Hyde Park comes to mind).
Educated and smart,yes!But their so called superior education only fitted them with a set of blinders so they could'nt see the real world.
You mock the military,but one thing they have that apparently you lack,is discipline and responsibility,something that is taught from day one in boot camp,but never taught in a University.
In the 60's/70's the police test was given on a monthly basis since the majority of the male population was either in the service or about to get drafted.A high school education or GED was all that was needed.Those "Old time dogs" you young-uns like to make fun about and bum-rap on this blog at times were the front lines in this city and carried the torch till the new breed came along with their 4 year degrees.We passed the torch to you,to carry on the good fight and what I see on a dailey basis and in the media are a lot of your 4 year degree cohorts dropping that torch.
When I was in the service every week LAPD and the CHP would come to our base recruiting guys who's enlistment was about to expire.If you were getting an honorable discharge you were hired on the spot.And in the 60's/70's both those police agencies were highly respected for their professionalism.

First of all, the mathematical term is spelled "Pi" not pie you fucking retard!! Pi is a mathematical constant and an irrational number whose decimal expansion never repeats or ends. It goes on forever, so no one can really say what pi is equal to. This answer was brought to you by a 13 years on the job high school diploma "retard".

I worked in the same district with Teresi over 12 years ago and run into him from time to time. He never seemed to be a bad guy, actually a very well mannered person. All his troubles started when he told a Sgt. to "GO POUND SAND" and the prick Sgt. went running to the LT/CW. The rest is history, they where gunning for him ever since. So they finally got him on a rule violation. Just remember, it's not if or when you do something wrong on this job but rather if the person you butt heads with is out to get you. Just my 2 cents... and keep the change you cheap pricks.
