What a joke. Anyone who does any research whatsoever can find all sorts of masking agents and even household concoctions that will mask the presence of illegal substances, especially marijuana. But who knows how many grounds for appeal Cicero has opened for this softball to try to get his job back. Luckily, TRU will be ready to do the same thing all over again. Unless J-Fed disbands them.

Attention TRU pukes: Your days are numbered. You should make plans now on how are you going to adjust on working back to 1st watch. And just remember, Portillo's, Bar Louie, and the "Viagra triangle" aren't open all night either.
Can anyone please care to explain why do we need this TRU (a manpower of 200+ ) since we already have Saturation teams working the Area's, including the Area Gun Teams, Narc's / Vice's and Districts Tact and Gang teams ? I've seen Saturation team did so much better and got "real" arrests than these so-called elite TRU. It's ashamed to see 4 of you pukes were trying to process ONE Subject for 1811 or DOPW arrest.
I WORK ON THE WESTSIDE AND HAVE DEALT WITH TRU, THEY HAVE ALWAYS BACK ME UP ON A TRAFFIC STOP ( I USUALLY WORK 99) AND I HAVE BACKED THEM UP. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THEM THEY ARE YOUNG AGREESIVE AND DO THE JOB. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THEY DID THE RIGHT THING IN LOCKING UP SCOTT. I HAVE A COUSIN WHO IS A P.O. IN BERWYN AND HE CAN TELL YOU ALL KINDS OF STORIES ABOUT MR. GD GANGSTER SCOTT. HE ALSO STATES CHIEF KUSHNER IS THE MAN. AND BILL WOULD NEVER PUT UP WITH THIS BULLSHIT .STAY SAFE.

Lt. Moran (moron?), the commanding officer (by his own admission) of Midway airport has promulgated that all passengers in possession of marijuana, regardless of quantity will be arrested.
Fortunate for us it does not apply to O'Hare.

This TRU bashing has got to stop. Honestly they are still police officers just like you wear the uniform with pride. For the people that did not agree with the arrest of Scott, you should of came to court and stood behind Scott and be a witness for the defense like his family did. The officers in TRU came from districts, they were your partners at one time. when the shit hits the fan they are usually the first there. I rather have them around than some officers that drive the other way when a 10-1 call comes out. Keep bashing them i pray to god that one day you'll never need them to help you out when the shit hits the fan.
Scott is a nice guy, however he has pissed hot three times for cocaine
and it was overlooked because he was liked. He is a patrolman appointed to commander who never passed a Sgt. exam and also failed staff and command school.The GD stuff mentioned has also been found to be true as he keeps pictures in his phone of GD gang members. He was given a gift as commander and was in good with the political structure so I would not be surprised if he demoted and brought back as a commander. It could be a problem with him on the street as anybody who claims he took their dope would raise suspicions. He's is therefore very limited in what he could do. Also their is testifying in court, his credibility is done with this arrest regardless of the urine/hair
follicle test results.

Yes it is! Wesley Scott is an embarassment and should be gone from our department. we must stop rewarding failure because it leads to this. Wesley Scott is there for one reason only, He's connected to the Mayor. They are more qualified personnel within the dept, but are never given the opportunity. We are waiting for the day that some of our worthless and unqualified leaders would be sent on their way and the others be demoted to their actual rank of patrolman. That is the reason why we continue to be the targets of investigations and butt of jokes because our Top leaders can never say "when!" They need to just cut their loses and remove these failures from our leadership ranks and move forward with the truly didicated officers of this department.
California is coming this way dude. Pot will be legal.
Last time I checked the IL. Revised Statutes, possession of Marijuana is still a class A misdemeanor.
