Mette Accuser Convicted
As noted on this blog months ago, Mike Mette's "accuser" got picked up and convicted for DUI.

How this affects his credibility is a question for his lawyers, but as Jacob Gothard seems to have a bad habit of getting drunk and then breaking the law, it might bear some exploration.

This is what it means: Tomorrow I'm emailing the local ACLU and see if they can help out.
I also emailed Culver a nice little message along with the link to the goof's conviction and the petition.
Where is his daddy now? Fuck him.
Mike should not be in jail for simple battery at worst, but he defended himself.
Wow people in cook co get less time for shooting at someone, robbery, and agg batt.
I'm so glad that the asshole judicial system took the word & credibility of a drunk, punk-ass Iowa scumbag over a Chicago police officer who was defending himself. They all should be ashamed of themselves for ruining Mette's career & life over this upstanding piece of garbage!
While off-duty, cops are walking on egg shells. Watch out there is no play anymore. The roadblock gets you you're done.
Every time I pull over somoene from IOWA, I write them every mover I can. I make sure it is a must appear. Prior to the Mette incident, we would travel to iowa several times a year. Not anymore. F them
Let's print this arrest sheet and send it to Mike.

The Judges in this country are entirely OUT OF CONTROL...
They all need to be held highly accountable for their inane and insane decisions, and many should be doing some prison time themselves.
There is no way that be be found relevant and material in court, even though we know it is.

Just imagine if while in an iowa supermarket you push a cart full of groceries out to you car without paying for them.... Thats gotta get you the death penalty ???
Hey, this is Gothard.....I think you Chicago cops set me up, feeding me all that nasty alcohol and then giving me the keys to a car that wasn't even mine!! And those vanity plates "Mette" really seems strange........

Mike Mette is doing time for FIGHTING! Right or wrong you Cops out there have to realize that you should walk away and Call the Police (unless you yourself are SOBER, and have a pair of cuffs to complete the arrest). Ok so now the so called "bad" guy got a DUI and EVERYONE is acting like a bunch of 10 year olds!! Hooray! He got a DUI! Wait, he's not a cop though, won't do any jail time, won't lose his job.........get my point!! Oh i forgot ....none of you Chicago Police officers drink and drive (yeah right) Mike Mette was drunk during his so called "defending himself"...............All you a**hole COPS should maybe learn a lesson? ya think???????

Let me get this straight.
Some A--hole is coming after you, beating you on the chest.
Not once, no twice, but three times, after you warned him the first time. Sure, if you're an off duty cop you should try to call 9-1-1. But this clown was severely intoxicated and hitting him.
I don't know about you, but I would have knocked out this j*g*ff's teeth. Michael shouldn't be serving prison time let alone a felony, and Gothard got off w/no charges after fighting cops/emergency personnel.
They all should have been slapped with a misdemeanor at best.

This is exactly the opposite of what we should be going. The people of Iowa are not to blame for Gothard being a drunk asshole and the judge being a goof.
What Mette needs is friends and allies in Iowa, not the enemies you just made.
If you do a little research Gothard has had many runs in with the law and he has never served any time. Even this last arrest only got him a fine and probation. Again, daddy probably stepped in to help his little boy out.
I just hope that he does not kill anyone while he is out driving under the influence. How would daddy get him off then??
