i was driving on 94 today - i saw a tahoe (grey i think) with LE plates ,934 or 954 i think was the plate number - this thing had an fop sticker on the plates , had a light bar (clear- so i couldn't see what color the lights were) , and a computer mounted on it. wtf ??
That must be the new thing, out of state plates for rats. I work in012 and the super secret Iad batcave is right down the street. Most of there cars have Indianna plates on them. They park like assholes to, go figure.
He was driving around in 003 a few days ago in this vehicle.
The G is big on black Suburbans and Tahoes. They're favored by HRT and other special teams. Jody just can't give it up. Can't figure the Mi plates though. They would attract more attention from the real police than an Illinois plate. I wonder if he knows about the tinted window ordinance . . . probably not.

I saw the vehicle. The guy at fleet said it was a loaner from the Chevy plant in Detroit set up like a police vehicle, so the department could check it out to see if they like it. Its parked at the area 1 garage and has been there at least a couple of weeks.

Just something to keep in mind when you're out there and not necessarily able to recognize a particular vehicle and or plate - it may very well be from the CCSO.

Last week J-Fed, Skahill, and Burst were driving in the black Tahoe w/ Mich. plates in 010. Sure enough a couple drinkers sitting in a parked car grabbed there attention and as you would expect hilarity and sheer confusion ensued. 010/Tact/TRU all showed up, just so Skahill's fat ass could berate the assisting officers for not addressing her as "ma'am" or "sir." In shithead fashion she also reminded everyone on-scene that she was the commander of IAD, "do you know who I am?" Do you know?" She also dictated that the officers inventory all their personal property. I guess she doesn't know that they can give up the cell phone, watch, etc. to which ever person isn't going to jail. Not sure if the arresting officers put her in box one but they should have. Let her go to fucking court...avoid a rule 14 violation. J-Fed the fearless man that he is sat in the front passenger seat the whole time never leaving the car... not even offering a Princess Di like handwave from the window to the troops. Due to the tinted windows it couldn't be confirmed if he was sucking his thumb or not. His FBI pal, Burst, told the officers that this was a good pinch...maybe even a 501. Wtf? Burst was also enamored with the fine mechanics of the prisoner wagon.

In Michigan there is no law about tinted windows. With Michigan plates and tinted windows in Illinois you are not breaking the law. Nice way to skirt the system, if we did it it would be a SPAR. Two sets of rules here.
Ran California plates on a Chrysler going W/B 90 just past Devon toll. plates came back w/ nothing out of ordinary. He (m/w) moved over so I could pass (he was pushing 75-80mph. As soon as I got next to him he waved then I passed. Car moved in to my lane behind me and lit up like a Christmas tree, low profile grill red/blue, visor ect. then turned them off. Figured it was a UC or a serious perpetrator!

If he has a vehicle with out of state plates he MUST have a city sticker. This was gone over some years a go when a Captain registered his car to his summer home in Michigan. The dept could not stop him from doing so but since his primary residence was in $hitcago he had to have a city sticker.

The Black Tahoe with MI plates was at 51st St. garage last week getting pimped out. Took my vehicles car to get cameras fixed and no one would say who the owner was or didn't know. Nice black rims too to match the blacked out windows. J-Fraud not the Police but looking for a little street cred.

He was up north last weekend driving around in it. I ran the Michigan plate and it comes back to Daley's summer home in Michigan.
If the Tahoe is a loaner from Chevrolet that would explain the Michigan plates. GM is still largely HQ'ed in Michigan.
Chicago PD plates will be either M or covert Illinois plates and as Chicago PD vehicles must carry a city vehicle sticker.
If not, get out the ticket book.

If I were thinking of a vehicle purchase from, say, Michigan. And
I took it home for a "test ride" lasting over one week. And if I were stopped for tinted windows as well as "ficticious reg." based upon the fact that I live in Chicago and the car is registered in Mich.

The Secretary of State police along with several other police agencies in Il. have these plates.
IAD also has a secret office at Bryn Mawr and Pulaski in the old TB sanitarium that now has a Senior Citizen complex in it.
