Well, Channel 7 News did just that! They ran both pieces seamlessly together like it was one incident!

No, channel 7 ran it immediately AFTER the towing arrest story. They segwayed right into the story of the court date being set for Abbate's trial and that he had pleaded innocent.
But we HAVE been treated to the video each and every time they've mentioned the court date. It's all about what 'sells' their product.
ok, im not defending abbate---but like said many times--this should not be a felony. the point that his attorney makes is that the media overplays the video everywhere. where on this earth is abbate going to get an impartial jury and a fair trial???

Off Topic, Why do some coppers work side jobs at banks, taco joints, construction site security, etc. for $15 to $19 an hour w/1099 tax? Why would anyone pimp their badge for that amount? Security companies charge $33 to $35 an hour for security contracts, then pay off-duty coppers, close to half that amount.

All the tow truck whackers are driving me crazy. They're all law enforcement/FF wannabes. Amber flashing lights don't give anyone the right to commit moving violations. Pull them over whenever they're making illegal U-turns or speeding to accidents. If you want charge them with using a police scanner to aid in committing a criminal act as well. I've talked to several N side complainants who almost got hit by tow shitheads. NEVER go on the zone asking for them, nothing good can come of that. Always order emergency tows properly through the zone/CW.
