Inconsistencies?
- Buckeye officials now are focusing their police chief search on Phoenix police Cmdr. Frank Milstead, a finalist for the job.
- Milstead's climb to top candidate comes after the town eliminated Ernest Brown from the running because of inconsistencies in his Chicago police background.
- Top staff and interview panelists remained silent about what kind of irregularities they found in Brown's record that threw him out of the race.
"What we were told (by Brown) and what we were seeing were two different things," said Scott Rounds, Buckeye's assistant town manager, who traveled to Chicago to visit Brown and tour his department in mid-July. "Through the process we found Mr. Brown doesn't fit the team."
We guess Arizona wasn't quite far enough.

"Downtown" Ernie Brown, CPD retired, was the front runner for the new chief of police job in Buckeye, AZ, a growing town of 25,000 about 35 miles west of Phoenix.
However, after several Buckeye officials visited Chicago, "Downtown" was eliminated from consideration due to "inconsistencies" in his background.
Outside Illinois, Chicago CLOUT don't mean squat, Brown. As a bonus, the attractive young women of Buckeye will now remain safe.

It would take very little investigation to find out what a 2-faced POS Brown is. His personal life is a mess - between the multiple GF's, divorces, paternity suits, unpaid creditors, the foreclosure, lawsuits he has caused against the City for his poor judgment and his "close association" with former Alderwoman Troutman - why would any Department want to hire him. Chicago should have fired him years ago.
Least someone has a head on their shoulder and can see through the smoke and mirror, Ernie Brown is nothing but a socially promoted fool, merit all the way up. That was funny as hell and oh so true! Now who the hell was his clout? The way crap rolled off of him I always figured that he had some dirt on every boss and every politition including the mayor.
I guess he didn't answer the questions he was AXED properly. You don't have to AXE why he wasn't considered you only have to AXE why he was in the first place. Inquiring minds AXE the hard questions.
Most of these posts are just illustrating the typical police mentality. Since most officers are miserable they enjoy when other people are miserable or fail. I dont care what color he is or who he fucks or tries to fuck. As far as being a boss he was way better than most. He liked workers and tried to take care of them no matter what color you were.
