Aldercreature Beats Ticket
A year after Rep. Danny Davis (D-7th) complained he had been the victim of racial profiling when he was pulled over and ticketed on the West Side, a Cook County circuit court judge today found Davis not guilty of failing to stay in his lane.
But Davis, who caused a small stir as he walked the Daley Center's basement halls to traffic court - "Danny!" exclaimed a woman walking by - backed off earlier claims that the two white officers pulled him over because he was black.
"I don't know what was going on in the minds of the officers," he said. "I hope they are fine upstanding police officers and they just made a little mistake."
There was certainly a mistake made. And any sane individual knows who made it. Asshat.

Yup, this sane individual knows that Danny Davis was last an alderman in 1990.
He has been a member of the US House of Representatives (congressman) since January, 1997.
Politics aside, don't you think a US Congressman might get a break for what is only a minor traffic violation? Were there any extenuating circumstances that required a sitting US Congressman be issued a traffic citation? Especially in this city, the land of misdemeanor murder?
Let me guess, were the officers uh, Republicans? Were they of a different race than the congressman? Just asking. Let's be fair here.
I give people breaks all the time, no matter what color they are. Give me half a reason and I give them a break. My personal criteria for a mover now is there must be an aggravating factor, no insurance, no DL, expired plates, something other than a regular citizen (or congressman) committing a basic traffic infraction that I see every day countless times.
At the very least, get your title straight, Davis is no aldercreature, at least not for the past 18 years.
DONT FORGET LADIES COMMITTEEMEN APPOINT JUDGE IN VACANT SLOTS.
MEANING A JUDGE HAS TO BEG FOR A HIGHER POSITION IN THE COURT.
OR THEY CAN DO FAVORS LIKE THROW OUT CASES AND CLAIM THE FAVORS LATER.
TRAFFIC COURT IS ONE OF THE LOWEST COURTS A JUDGE CAN BE ON. SO KEEP AN EYE ON THAT JUDGE AND SEE IF HE IS APPOINTED FOR HIS GREAT WORK IN TRAFFIC COURT.

Who cares what your criteria is. So your soft on traffic violations. Thats your right. But who the hell are you to question the reasoning of these officers. And then to pull the race card, or the "party" card since you ask if they were Republicans. How about asking if he even identified himself as a Congressman. Bottem line, you weren't there and you don't know so you have no grounds to pass judgement. Now go back to writing parking tickets since nobody is usually around to talk your bleeding heart out of it.

Officer "L K" testified Wednesday that she and her partner saw Davis' vehicle, which she described as gray, cross the center line and swerve back into the proper lane while making a left turn from 16th Street north onto Kedzie Avenue

Look up the word in the Chicago Dictionary, you know, our own homespun version of definitions.
Aldercreature is not just a position in government. It is also a way of life. The title describes a specific flawed and corrupt line of thought and conduct.
Danny Davis is definitely an aldercreature from way back, even before occcupying the specific Chicago office of aldercreature, and he continues to use and express his aldercreaturethink in whatever government position he occupies. He cannot help it, he just bees that way.

I got pulled over in Austin, and I thank the officers for doing their job. I am a white officer and was going somewhere off duty, xpressway was jammed so I took the scenic route. I commited no traffic violations but can tell ya I got curbed because I am white in a drug infested black hood. I want to sue the city and the black citizens who caused this, problem.

I'd go further and detail the job out to an ISP troop. Hold the job till one comes out to process your driver/whatever theyre doing thats fubar. Hell, even get your local post pbx #'s and give them a call on it. Thats what they do. Use the system. then you can say I recognized the person I was dealing with and wanted that person to have the most fair chance at the dui testing, etc and called in a troop to do it. just a thought.
