Defining Game

Suffice it to say, this game will probably determine the rest of the Bears season.

Do they come back from the Green Bay spanking, showing resiliency, character and at least keeping up with the deadlock in the Central Division?

Or do they roll over and die a slow death, pinning their hopes on the draft once again?

As a side note, the Blackhawks are 3-0 in their circus road trip so far. We're just saying...

with the hawks down 4-2 going into the third it looked bad. at the end they are up 5-4 in overtime for the 2 points. every good team needs a little luck sometimes. the maple leafs have had their problems this year. the real reason that the hawks will be in the playoffs this year is that they have enough depth that they can survive if key players become injured. sharp, toews, kane, versteeg, havlat, and a solid defensive core will push the hawks deep into the playoffs this year.

Anthrax Scare

Chicago Bears football practice was delayed nearly two hours yesterday after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach, Lovie Smith, immediately suspended practice while police and federal agents were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance, unknown to the players, was the goal line. Practice was resumed today after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

If you haven't watched this year its about time to start tuning in to the HAWKS!

This team is IN every game even when they go down a goal or two they have the FIREPOWER and confidence to know they can come back. Hockey in Chicago (not Rosemont) is happening again!

Both teams are doing well! Chicago Blackhawks and the Rosemont Wolves!

I am the perfect candidate for AREA 5 CHEF. I can cook up a great news broadcast and steal all the glory from the troops! See I have learned all my tricks from the time I was in IAD and have used my secret agents to rat on those are not loyal to me. I will be promoted again or I'll cry to the FEDERAL MONITOR and get another 30k and a promotion.

"OFF TOPIC" but necessary, just finished watching "60 Minutes" and tonight's topic concerned an incident of a security breach at a nuclear power plant in South Africa. Two heavly armed assault teams, team #1 defeated a 10'000 volt security fence surrounding the plant, shut down the fence, disabled the early warning/detection system where a night guard, who is a qaudraplegic (unsure if spelled correctly)but who was not on duty the night of breach and was given the night off therefore another worker who volunteered so that the disabled man could be home with his family. The young lady while on duty and there with her boyfriend was "startled" when the armed intruders entered the control room. The intruders first attacked the boyfriend with a metal pipe (in an attempt to not discharge their weapons which would have alerted the guards). The boyfriend bravely fought back, one of the entruders fired his weapon striking the boyfriend in the chest who continued to fight knocking two of the three attackers to the ground, unaware that he was wounded the boyfriend along with his girlfriend where able to alert the gaurds. Realizing security was then alerted the intruders then fled back through the breached area of the fence. The intruders whereabouts are unknown at this time.It was later discovered that there was a second team who where on standby at another part of the fence nearby for reasons unknown at this time but U.S. intell believes it was an attempt to secure highly enriched uraninum,we all know what that is used for,to make a "Dirty Bomb".Of course the South African government attempted to down play this incident but came off looking very inept/unprepared for what had taken place. The nuclear power plant is named "Palindaba".SCC please check/confirm this info.I hope the entended target was not the U.S.A.,my intent is not to make everyone paranoid but instead make you aware/enform you of what's going on outside the reach of our country.Just because of a minor change of circumstances, maybe the intruders expected the handicapped guard to be on-duty and when they encountered someone who fought back,it must have thrown their plans out of whack.Fellow bloggers how many times can "luck" win out, that is the question that cannot be answered.

No.

Not a dirty bomb but an actual nuclear bomb. Crude but real. The device we exploded over Hiroshima was a similarly crude device by today's standards but we know what it did.

All that is needed, once one has highly enriched uranium is to mash two spheres of the stuff together with sufficient force and a nuclear explosion takes place.

A dirty bomb can be made with the radioactive medical waste your local hospital throws out. This was much different in intent. I think the report stated that. The stuff that is stored there is bomb grade material, not radioactive waste.

The Bears have to go to Minneapolis this week and win there...That's gonna be a defining moment. Prediction...they're gonna lose. As for the Hawks, the West Side is alive again. They probably finish the trip 4-2, which is great. I'll be interested to see how many people re-new their season tickets next year, after the Winter Classic passes.
