Two More Police Shootings

  • A Chicago Police sergeant who stopped a minivan with suspects believed to have been involved in the earlier shooting of a boy on the South Side was not injured when the suspects opened fire on him Monday afternoon.

The sergeant was responding to the area of 62nd Street and Vernon Avenue just after 2 p.m., where a juvenile had been wounded in a drive-by shooting, police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.

Some people are in custody already.

California and 64th St:
  • A 23-year-old man was pronounced dead today after being shot by Chicago police after he reportedly refused to drop his gun in Marquette Park.

Deangelo Webb of the 3600 block of West 70th Street was pronounced dead at 8:19 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center, said a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office.

A Chicago police officer shot Webb in the chest after he refused to drop his gun this morning at about 5:30 a.m. in an alley on the 2800 block of West 64th Street.
Good job to all involved.

If memory serves correct, this is the second time in about 2 months that shots have been fired at the police, ON THE SAME BLOCK! (6200 on vernon) As if anyone needed a reminder, keep yours heads up and eyes open. Nothing a "just cause" and a few sound impounds can't fix.....

OFF TOPIC.....

Can anyone confirm that a husband/wife, both p.o.'s locked up yesterday? Something along the lines of domestic battery/stealing a duty weapon/child neglect? AND the female half RUMORED to have more than a casual relationship with both Starks and Jackson in the past? Inquiring minds want to know.....

Here's a clue for the clueless:

If you lay down and do nothing, you invite contempt from the pieces of shit that are out there. They're not stupid, they see the attitude of "do nothing" and they are emboldened by it.

You don't have to be a ball of fire, but at least do something, if for no other reason than to keep the pieces of shit out there in line.

Where have you been? They've been pillaging for some time up here. Tons of activity at night, but 016's cars are detailed South. Thanks Jody. Put the Cops on the Dots and leave the taxpayers all alone with their unregistered guns. They're lonely, not stupid.

Where? Is there a database to find out where these locations are? Rumor has it they wanted to bring "fair housing" to Park Ridge, but the residents successfully opposed it. It's just a matter of time before they incorporate the ghetto there too. When will people learn?
