Thank You Denver-Area PD's

Keeping an eye on Densey Cole:

Even the Chief of the Denver PD stopped by.

Anyone who knows of any Denver cops coming to town, be sure they don't pay for a thing.

UPDATE: Title altered to convey appreciation to all the suburban Denver Police Departments who are pitching in - especially Englewood, Colorado.

Denver and all the suburbs have been great to Densey as well as another copper who is at the same hospital, from Minnesota..
It is fantastic what good care they are taking of Densey and his family.
They are all doing it as volunteers, but the departments also let them do stuff like escort and drive the family back and forth to/from airport etc. not to mention the moral support they are giving...
One guy I spoke to, thanking, replied that he thinks he gets more out of it than the guys in the hospital, and how inspiring it is to watch guys who have had their lives changed so drastically, make their way back to "life" as they are going to know it post incident.

I second the title of this post, but expand to include all the suburbs of Denver including the Englewood PD ... they have all been great.

THANK YOU

Big thanks to the Denver PD for helping a brother out! God Bless you all! Also the reporter for referring to the shitbag as a "lowlife" (min 1:48) - probably wont ever hear anything along those lines from a chicago reporter

Densey was brought to a regular hospital yesterday with fluid in his lungs. They took care of it and he is gonna be OK, still trying to determine whjat caused it. He still has that positive attitude that could teach us all a lesson. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks everybody!!

As an ordinary citizen, it brings me (& I'm sure others) great joy to know that there are still people in this world who are happy helping this officer just because it is "the right thing to do." Day in & day out they are working to keep us safe & still take time to support this officer. Thankyou Officer Densey for all you have done & will continue to do. I can tell after having heard you in your interview that you are the kind of man I would like my son to model when he grows up. Thanks from a father in Chicago.

I mean no disrespect to the men and women of the Chicago Police Dept by my post...but I am a P.O. with a suburban Police Dept and am glad I never decided to join the CPD years ago, once I saw this job taking a turn for the worst .While it is bad everywhere..the BULLSHIT you all have to put up with is disgusting. This just shows it.This city is a fucking dump and makes me sick...the media/bosses/politicians are all in it together..corrupt POS!!! The total disrespect that is shown to you by these people is unforgivable and I hope each and every one of you stay safe and get out as soon as you can...you are ALL very much appreciated!!!!
Stay safe and God Bless Officer Cole

Surgery? I heard critical breathing problems Monday morn left Craig for another emergency facility then.
He's not in ICU hospitalized still, is he? His new bride mary was going to Chgo for hang time with her fam. Actually, some guys jus said she is here. Look, the docs prolly got him all cleared up and maybe back to Craig before she got on the plane. I know it was hard for coppers to leave him when saw him. She wouldnt have left Den for nothing. LET'S ALL JUST PRAY FOR DENZ. LET'S NOT SAY IT BUT DO IT. GET WELL, BROTHER.

Heard Denz is still in I.C.U. at Swedish Hospital & that wife is still in Chgo. for family birthday parties. This fact came from a Colorado officer who keeps a close watch on Denz. What the fucks up with that? Cmon guys, we need to take a couple days to go see him, try & organize so that we all don't go at the same time. Spread it out so that he knows his Chgo bros will always be here to help him in anyway he needs us. Hang tough dude, you always helped everyone & we now will help you. SCC you have been great with the postings, except now I almost thought the postings had stopped cause it is so far down. Could ya move it up? Thanks
