We've been able to donate over $1,250.00 to The Hundred Club. That's way way beyond our wildest dreams. Chalkie is a very popular guy.

Chalkie deserves to retire. He's done his job with no complaints, and was most diligent and persistent.
I would love to congratulate Chalkie and bid him a due but is his work really really done.

Wednesday's City Hall March
I expect to see Cook County Board President Candidate, Lt. John Garrido, to be upfront and leading the troops if he expects a single police vote.
Mike Shields was elected by us to represent us, he had better be upfront leading. Mike loves to tell the story about how his brother led the troops into the Mayor's office during the last contract march. Talk is cheap, lets see you lead us now. No more talk about taking Daley out. Talk is cheap, we demand action.
Jimmy Maurer can now lead us too, now that he got a taste of City Hall. Jimmy it's time to ante up and lead the mean and women like a real General would do.
I also expect to see all of the FOP & PBPA officers leading from the front. If you expect us to vote for any of you, LEAD!
The time is now, the media is keenly focused on Chicago and the Mayor is weak.

Now that he is retired will Chalkie be at the monthly breakfast this wednesday at the Lone Tree on Milwaukee ave.? How about the quarterly luncheon on the 21st of October? Hope to see you there as a guest speaker. You've done well now enjoy a leisurely retirement.

I'm glad I bought mine when it was Chalkie with the logo CHICAGO 2016.

You can keep Chalkie going indefinitely - adapting to current events as he goes along. It's not like the Olympics are going to stop just because we lost the bid -- so why should he?
I just heard on WBBM Radio that money alotted by the city to Chicago 2016 activities is not going to be used for necessary things, but will instead be diverted to something called "World For Chicago," "an organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of the quest" for the Olympics. Sounds ike they're going to put a new nameplate on the Chicago 2016 offices and keep right on going, paying out salaries for people to do...something or other.
Maybe they can still spend $100 mllion turning the Michael Reese facilty into an "Olympic Legacy Museum," with exhibits like huge blowups of IOC-cocktail-party pictures -- and maybe, as a centerpiece, an actual J.C. Decaux plate-glass bus shelter with "Chicago 2016" posters on it.
Staff of 200, of course, with maintenance men, security guards, etc.
MAYOR DALEY IS CLINICALLY INSANE.

REMEMBER Halloween is Just Around the Corner and CHALKIE would be an Easy Costume to Make for Kids or Adults.
This would be great at parties, just set up some crime scenes, take pictres, with kids playing cops and CSIs and send them to SCC.
We Should have a contest, or just for fun like we did with Sergeant What's-Her-Name. Chalkie could come to the March tomorrow and represent the D.O.A. career of the mayor. Maybe someone can make a roll-up Chakie and photo him on vacation in far off places like that gnome commercial. Take him worldwide and send in the photos.
