Fake Cop
A Lincoln Park man has been charged with impersonating a police officer after allegedly luring a couple into his car and robbing them, authorities said.
[...] About 4:30 p.m. Friday, the suspect, driving a silver Chevrolet Impala, stopped the vehicle alongside a man and woman in the 4800 block of North Hamlin Avenue in Albany Park, police said. The suspect showed the couple a pair of handcuffs, a police scanner, and what they believed was a handgun.
The suspect ordered the victims into the car, telling them he was an undercover office, and drove the two to a nearby alley, where he took their belongings, including cell phones, an iPod and an unreported amount of cash, police said.
Albany Park district police officers were called to the scene and broadcast a description of the suspect and vehicle over the radio. Patrol officers later spotted and stopped the car in the 3400 block of West Leland Avenue and called the victims to the scene.

this offender has around 100 pinches with over 40 being felonies--- he also has been arrested numerous times for this in the past--- heads up pinch by two officers who were keeping their eyes open and listening to the radio.....

These "officers" who cannot spell, write, talk, or communicate and they are already on the job and they, allegedly, passed an entrance exam.
I have seen a lot of cops who look like this retard that got busted....

Thats the trouble with these guys...they know that if they convince a victim that they are the police, people will comply with them. The penalty for impersonating should be increased 10 fold. I love when they get caught by real police ! Ebay was very wise to ban the sale of stars, badges, etc.
Maybe it is time to restrict the sale of handcuffs to Sworn Officers, and a very limited number of security people that actually need them. Most security people do not need or carry them.

Have a daughter who occasionally drives alone at night. We've told her if a car attempts to stop her, and it isn't a marked unit and she's not in a well-lit public area, or if she just feels uncomfortable about it, to put her flashers on, drive slowly, call 911immediately and stay on the line with 'em, and ask that a marked unit meet her at a well-lit intersection or an open gas station.
Is this the right thing to do?

As a cop, I am fucking tired of locking people like this guy up only to see them on the streets doing it again and again.
We really need to get tough on crime here in Cook County. As a cop, knowing what I know now, if I could, I would move to places far away from criminals and in counties where if you get caught, you will do some hard time in prison.
017 is turning into a shit hole. In the past four years, every summer I notice it getting worse and worse. I hope that this small pocket in 017 (3000 West to 4000 West and 4400 North to 5000 North) doesn't expand and get bigger.

OT--someone told me they have seen Masters in a uniform. Is this true? IS he sworn, or isn't he?
If he is, when did that occur? What training did he receive?
When was he sworn in? Why is all this being kept a closely guarded secret among WEISel, Masters, and the Executive command of this Dept. (I'm sure RayRay would know this too)? Why has WEISel not come clean about the status of Masters?
I thought his "PAX 501" was created to CLEAR UP FALSE RUMORS.
So what's the truth about this one, "Boss?" When will you speak the truth to the troops about the sworn or civilian status about the NUMBER TWO man on the Job?

YES, it is entirely reasonable.
No officer should be angered at being asked to produce a photo id.
Everyone is issued them, and they should be on their persons at all times while working in plain clothes, or carrying a badge.
God, I wish this asshole would try this with me...3 days off and free pizza!

This guy has 105 Arrests, INCLUDING an AGG ARMED ROBBERY in 2007 where he IMPERSONATED THE POLICE!
If someone alone, particularly a lone woman turns on her flashers and drives to a well lite gas station or somewhere else if you try to stop him/her cut them some slack. I have told my own daughter to do that. I have also told her what to say and how to say it.
Another thing, those in-car cameras are ALWAYS recording video. The turning on/off of the roof lights only puts start/stop marks on the recording. When you download, it only sends the portions between the start/stop marks but if the department wants to they can send a technician to download the whole thing before it is recorded over. Audio is only recorded between the start/stop marks when the microphones are turned on.
Stay safe, don't do anything stupid, and don't do anything stupid in front of a camera.
