Indiana Gun Saves a Life
Remember, guns only cause violence - they can never ever save a life. At least, not in Chicago:
A South Bend woman fatally shot her ex-boyfriend after he broke into her home and attacked her Saturday, police said.
Anthony Echols broke a large window at the back of the home to get in, according to the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit.
The woman had invited a male acquaintance to spend the night because she'd been having problems with Echols, police said.
Echols started to fight with the other man and the woman got her handgun and told Echols to leave, but he attacked her, police said.
Echols then learned a valuable lesson in the value of having a gun in the home to deter acts of violence against the occupants of said home. As a matter of fact, we heard it was the only lesson he learned properly since he dropped out of high school a few years back - he won't be repeating his mistakes ever again.
That also puts him at least one lesson up on Shortshanks and J-Fled.

Ilove a storywith a happy ending!
Three Cheers for the South Bend Lady ! YA did Good !!!
What part of..... we are not together anymore did he not understand?
We have wood!
Few things give us more joy than a shithead dead by the hands of a citizen...
thank God I live in a state that realizes that there aren't enough law enforcement personnel to cover the citizens. In Texas we have the castle doctrine that includes your vehicle. The added benefit to a conceal license is that an officer pulling you over knows you're not a felon when they see the license. On so many levels, when are you guys going to vote these goofs out??
SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can we please keep this a secret? It's making my policies look ridiculous!
-Major Dick, I mean Mayor Rich
Citizens don't need guns, bats can be used to great effect to bust some heads, right Mayor, you know, wink wink. Remember when Patty boy(alledgedly) almost killed someone.
Maybe this womans 24 hour bodyguard should have handled the situation for her. Let them eat cake, right Richie. Can't wait for the scotus decision, first we lost the olympics to a country that has death squads roaming major cities killing homeless kids, (yeah we lost to them haha). Now your precious little unconstitutional nazi gun ban is about to go bye, bye. Hows it feel, the walls closing in, the truth slowly seeping out.
The gun ban isn't over by a long shot, the antigunners were at the last city council meeting telling strategy methods to delay it for years.
SCOTUS already set the table by requiring training, registration, disqualifiers, etc.
If you think Joe Citizen will be able to purchase a pistol at Shore and keep it starting next month you are mistaken.
Thanks to the poster with the info on the rifle maker in Barrington.
I love when I hear that the asshole gets to take a dirt nap!
My gun is in reach when I go to bed. Not that I've ever expect any problems, but one never knows. And I go to the shooting range as often as possible (especially because it's so close). Center mass; I've gotten very good at it. I like to throw in a head shot or two just because I wouldn't want the fucker to get up.
Prob is - I want more guns. Lots of them, but I haven't found another yet that I feel comfortable with (except my brother's, and he's not willing to give it up, the shit!).
I'm just thankful I live in a state that loves their guns, and am on the border of another that love guns just as much. :)
Let's all celebrate on July 9th at the Thompson center after Daley gets his ill advised handgun ban buried. 11Am to 1 PM - the third annular Second Amendment Freedom Rally.

Be there to celebrate Shortshanks having a major league hissy fit when his phony ban get tossed!!
