Three More "Outies"
Or as they're saying downtown, "Unprevented Preventables:"
Three men were killed in what appeared to be a gang-related shooting early this morning the Little Village neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
The shooting happened about 3 a.m. near West 23rd Street and South Springfield Avenue.
Ogden District officers heard gunshots in the area, toured it and found the three victims, police said. Two of them lived at the same address and all three share the same last name.
The stone-cutters will have an easy job with the headstones.
In the meantime, the inanity of the "innie v outie" debate continues to provide comic relief for police everywhere:

And guess what?
As the summer wears on, complaints against the Police will decrease even more.

Welcome to hands-off Policing!
(for the most part... Dynamic on-view shit still has a tendency to happen)
We expect, since Policemen are adapting and taking a stand of self interest/preservation with extreme prejudice, a whole slew of bullshit zero tolerance initiatives from 3510. Since coppers are taking pains to avoid trouble, some of the bosses will manufacture trouble to justify their existence so they can crow about how they put x number of coppers behind the eight-ball.
The late-breaking nonsense by avowed Police-hater Charlie Williams right before he was told to jump or get pushed comes to mind. Though it wasn't enough to save him from possibly being 390 mids, 'nuff said... LOL!
This stuff goes in cycles... Don't be surprised if it happens.
P.S.
To the Dads out there in the urban circus, Happy Father's Day to you all and God Bless.
Anyone know anything about the triplet on 010? Seems odd a whole family would get gunned down like that.
oohhhhhhhhhh yeeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
OH NOOOOOOO!
I'll take some flamin hot cheetos with dat.
On the topic of the 010th dist what is up with the supervisors, do they not hve any balls anymore? Was there tonight and I have to say multiple 10-1s where no supervisors from 010 showed up, yes I saw some from 012 and 011. Why have cars stacked up 12 jobs of noise disturbances that have 2 hours on them. That's how these idiots are getting shot, no police to police because they were running all over the place answering annonymous dope jobs and noise disturbances.

Looks like MSF is up to the ol' SOS tricks. Several CR#s obtained due to their antics at the PR fest. I'm sure this idiot commander will handle the beefs the same way as MT: don't worry about them. So the troops just keep risking their careers and freedom. Wise up kids, Weis will put you all in jail.

Hey c'mon guys,...knock it off! I gotta run.
Aldermanic 3rd rail: Asking for pay raise
BY FRAN SPIELMAN City Hall Reporter
Thirty-nine of Chicago's 50 aldermen are paid $110,556 a year. Six are taking a salary of $106,644. Five others get $104,101 after forgoing cost-of-living pay raises. All 50 get an expense allowance of $73,280.
"I won't touch it with a 10-foot pole this time. I did it last time -- and I got rapped. They used it against me during the election," said Ald. Bernard Stone (50th), the City Council's 82-year-old elder statesman, who took the lead on the pay raise issue four years ago.
[But the electorate didn't disappoint; they STILL re-elected this asshole!]
"I don't think anybody's gonna touch it this time. You'd be crazy to touch it now. With the economic condition that exists now, nobody's gonna ask for a raise."
Referring to Chicago's $310,000-a-year police superintendent, Stone said, "Jody Weis is willing to take a reduction, yet he's making three times what we make. That's ridiculous."
[J-Fled was CONTRACTED to do two jobs, but Tricky Dick left him to put his full energy into destroying the police department. Sad that an alderman who likely voted to approve his contract didn't know this! The aldermen on the other hand, have a PART-TIME JOB]
Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) said he, too, is "cognizant of the pain our families and our constituents are going through." But, he wouldn't rule out a "modest" increase.
"Most of us have taken quite a bit of furlough days. So, the net effect has been anywhere from an 8 to 10 percent reduction in our salaries," he said.
Asked if he could support a pay hike under any circumstances, Tunney said, "On first blush, I would say, no. But, it really depends on the package. . . . If we're gonna take off a lot of furlough days -- which is now the third year of that -- there's gonna be some serious discussion. I look forward to the discussion."
[Chicago taxpayers need to ACTIVELY WORK to prevent this jag from getting re-elected. Obviously he hasn't talked to Stone]
Four years ago, the City Council approved a pay raise tied to the inflation rate and gave themselves political cover by passing the big box-minimum wage ordinance on the same day.
[Sneaky bastards, aren't they??]
Unfunded city pensions have created yet another financial time bomb. The mayor's pension commission has concluded that reduced employee benefits, higher worker contributions and "new revenue" from taxpayers will be needed to bail out four city employee pension funds that will run out of money by 2030.
[Hang onto your hats boys & girls, this is gonna get worse before it gets worse!]

MSF is another SOS in the making. These hairgels just don't get it yet.
When they do, it will be too late. So sad!

Why bother? I'll give them a heads up equivalent to their desire to do right by me, which is a big fat zero.
Instead, let them do as they do. Hopefully, it will be the final nail in their collective coffin and cause the awakening of a slumbering electorate.
Besides, unless a member of the unholy Gang of 50 and/or the shanks suddenly loses their arrogance and takes heed, tipping them off is an exercise in futility, however, should they suddenly and inexplicably abandon their previous demeanor and really hear your protests, which would be a miracle, all you have done is allowed them to save their ass or asses.
Screw sending them an email. And screw the shanks. Instead, be pro-active in another manner. Take a step back and let them all self-destruct, then vote them out. Oh, happy day!
Just wait til change day when most of the Captains get shuffled around. That will solve everything.
Sort of like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
With King Ritchie pulling JFeds strings and JFed being the imbecile that he is this department is sliding into an abyss.
"On the topic of the 010th dist what is up with the supervisors, do they not hve any balls anymore? How did you get off probation? Have you been paying attention for the last two years?
Why should any Sgt code out an old job? Why should anyone disobey a General Order to HELP the Department?
Daley will not hire any new people until he is embarrassed in the media. The backlog, no cars available, will become a front page scandal when some citizen big shot repeatedly calls for help and the police never show up. The Sgt who codes out old jobs is risking his job.
About 8-10 years ago a woman was beaten to death while calling 911 several times. It happened during change of watch in 005. The Dept came down on the dispatchers, the POs, the Sgt, the WC and everyone else to blame.
I don't need the aggravation. YOU code out the calls, see where it gets you.
"Was there tonight and..." You don't work in 010!!! Your one of those "special people" who drive all over the city and lock up public drinkers and one rockers. You are a expert in all areas of law enforcement. After two more St Jude's you can sew the yellow strip on the blouse.
Please do 010 a favor, stay away.
