RIP Rick,

Your Blackhawks went all the way this year. I know you're proud. And you had the best seat in the house!

Two years ago our brother Rick was killed because he was working midnights in a 1-man car. We're still working midnights in 1-man cars all over the city and that is an atrocity. I pray each and every day that we do not lose someone else because of this insane operational policy. May Rick rest in peace and be in our prayers always.

Have to disagree w/ you there. There was no more than 75 Officers in attendance.
How soon we forget...

Since were talking about great people here, with Rick Francis walking the point, out front...
Let's not take for granted our pipe bands and Honor Guard members that continually do us proud.
Unfortunately it's only on occasions like this that their efforts and dedication are noticed.
In my world I'm grateful for them, one and all.
RIP Brother Rick!
