Just when you think the disciplinary system is all fixed....oh yeah, right, it's never fixed. It's always going to be broken. In any case, why all the subterfuge?
- It seems the Commander of 014 left her snubby and ammo in her company car by her house FOR 12 HOURS when someone broke in and stole it. The AIRA case report lists a bbry charger and cell phone chargers at property 1 and property 2 and says "see hard copy" in the narrative. The main list of ttys (amfn's) says P.O. LF so as not to catch anyones eye. Whats the big coverup? Maybe the fact that she left her weapon in her vehicle overnight (1915-0715 hrs. Wheres the CR#???
Just a reminder - there are only three places your gun should be:
- on your person;
- secure in a safe;
- loaded and unsecured in your sock drawer for quick and easy access;
Not in the glove box of the company car. And you can probably disregard #3 above, too.

MY GOD! Here is a high ranking CPD officer of some (?) amount of time on the Job. Is she that dense/stupid? What the hell has this job come to? But I guess it's to be expected. I can recall when I was assigned to 014 years ago that former cmdr Acosta must have wrecked at least 3 squads while driving home in a highly probable inebriated condition...nothing was done to him either. It's known that exempts can only receive two kinds is sustained punishments for sustained CRs, (1) a reprimand or
(2) a seven day suspension. I wonder which one cmdr Flores will receive? Another strike against the leadership decisions of WEISel/Masters.

Speaking of Henny Penney, the "rumor" about the west side reverends knowing about her return before other department command staff is absolutely true. It seems that while relieved of her duties, the enterprising Penny decided to contact a whole bunch of west side revs, and asked them to write letters to Masters stating that she was a great commander (LIE) and that they wanted her back. Apparently these letters swayed the great Mike Masters and days later Henny Penny was reinstated, without the knowledge of the A4 Deputy Chief, the Acting Commander, or anyone else at 35th street BESIDES Masters.
So a lesson to all of our friends in call back. Contact your favorite reverends and have them start a letter writing campaign. You will back on the street by next week. Who knew that the reverends would hold the key to solving our mapower issue...callback will be cleared out anytime now.

Guns are legal now so the order is on Weis' desk sending the gun team members along with their sergeants back to the districts. The only hold up is the holiday weekend. yes it goes into effect today... it will not be on your check until july 16... also, since it goes into effect today 01 jul 2010 your july 16th check will not show the true amount of what you will make since they pay period started on sunday so your missing out on sun,mon and tues on the raise... for your full raise you will have to wait until 01 aug 2010 to see how much you really will make per check.

The raises does take effect today. But you won't see it on your check until the next check. The raise is effective 7/1. This check is for the end of June. It's just like a step raise that you see the increase the pay period AFTER the anniversary.

You started earning it today. You don't get it on your check till the next check.
Uh. Yes, during the course of the year your check may actually go down. What happens is you make enough money to bump up a tax bracket and they then withold at a higher rate. Ta da! Less money in your check. The amount is usually set for the year (although you see a shift on the 1st Feb check) but if you work alot of special/over time, it can trigger at other times.

Absolutely incorrect! IRS withholding schedules only reflect amounts for the current pay period, whatever it is. If your check went down it is because an additional amount was taken out for something else, or you were docked that amount (unlikely).

Both sides of a passionate argument. But it does make one wonder how to take Cmdr LF, Lt. PC (015) seriously when they benefit from the tutelage of Capt J R-D, test advisor and special proctor. Also the so called equipment malfunctions and an actually merited lawsuit pending. No wonder PO's are skeptical.
As far as the gun, she fucked up, period. Investigate it, sustain the #, add the day to her 24 mandated furlough days, and end the controversy.
