Three Arrests in Bailey Murder
We're thinking some very unkind thoughts about now, but we will endeavor to remain professional. We urge everyone else to do the same in our comment section:
- Just hours after the funeral for slain off-duty Chicago Police Officer Michael R. Bailey, three South Side teenagers were arrested on suspicion they were involved in his murder Sunday outside the officer’s Park Manor home on the South Side.
[...] The three males, 16, 17 and 18, were all placed in custody at Calumet Area headquarters, 727 E. 111th St., late Friday afternoon on the suspicion they had some involvement in the officer’s death, according to police.

I would have prefered they let us find them. The idea that they are walking just doesn't sit well with me right now. I'm sorry if anyone is offended, but no amount of time these clowns get can satisfy the outrageous act they committed. If they aren't the ones, I'm sorry, if they are, fuck them!

Don't know where else to put this, but this shows the leadership this department has from the top all the way to the sgts. level.
Yesterday Jody came to 011 to show the little people he rides the streets. In all 3rd watch roll calls the po's were ordered to be available for a outdoor roll call at 1830 hours. At about 1800 hours a sgt gets on the air to check with the dispatcher that all cars are available. Short of having a prisoner for killing someone you were to be clear and attend the roll call.
Not let's not forget that at 1800 hours it was pitch black due to the incoming storm. At about 1815 hours it was pouring down and continued for 45 minutes. The sgt is back on the air clearing people and sending them to roll call.
These pieces of shit (all supervisors from sgt on up) have the po's standing in the pouring ran for a stupid ass out door roll call so JFled can talk about some shithead gang banger and shootings that are happening. Who gives a fuck.
Then the great leader Henny the Penny, who was there cast and all, rides around with the alderman like she knows what she is talking about. It was probably the 3rd time she has been on the streets in 011, included the time she was on scene of a HBT incident and ordered a po to go back ot the station for her vest that she forgot.
First time since she has been that the lights in her office have been on during a Friday night. But everyone should believe that papers that exempts are working on Friday nights.
She then yells at a midnight po for putting on a sweater at the desk. It was about 40 degrees in the station and this bitch is worried about the uniform worn at the desk

Well, that didn't take long. Good work. Good that these three are safely locked up. Their lives, in all but a strictly institutional/custodial sense, have ended.
Especially sad -- what a fluke! This crime occurred at 6:30 AM. I don't have a book of statistics (anyone?) but from what I know that's about the least likely time for the vermin to be up and about, and the safest time to get through a bad area if you have some legitimate reason to do so. Hardly anyone works, and they're all sleeping it off from last night's dice game, riot, etc.
I am glad they took these murders of the streets. They belong in cages. Maybe this and give us all a little bit of peace. But we will never be the same after losing another brother in blue.
Anybody have any idea if the actual shooter is among these shitbirds? Being "involved" could mean a lot of things, from providing the gun, to helping the shooter get away.
Let's just hope the ASA's have the f*cking balls to charge the 16 & 17 yr old as adults!

Twenty miles east across the Mississippi River from Cape Girardeau, Missouri lies the hamlet of Tamms, Illinois (population 750). It's the site of the Tamms Correctional Center: the Illinois "supermax" which holds the worst of the worst.
The only exception is Pontiac Correctional Center, the site of the Illinois death row.
Shortly before execution by lethal injection, the condemned are transported nearly 400 miles down to Tamms and housed next to the last room they will ever enter alive.
Time to clean out the cobwebs in that chamber. I'm also for much larger "butt plugs" covered with sandpaper and razor wire.

When a government figure or a symbol of law and order is injured or killed, all elements involved in any such act need to be brought to justice AS IN YESTERDAY!!

Clearance rates for homocides is probably between 25-30 percent. But that doesn't necessarily mean an offender was arrested. Exceptionally cleared cases doesn't mean an offender was arrested. The percent would be lower if you counted only charged offenders. Probably 15 percent clearance. A/5 Dick

to 2.38pm: No major crime goes on (as a rule) after 5am until noonish. Why do you think the Feds and other agencies (incl the CPD) serve arrest, dope and gun warrants from 5am-7am, shithead is more than likely home at that time.

It is my opinion that this was an organized car-jacking. Some dick head saw PO Bailey's new ride and the time of day he was getting home. They plotted and made sure that they had two guns because they knew PO Bailey was the police and attempted to take his car. PO Bailey tried to defend himself but tragically was outgunned. There is no way two or three random jerkoffs just happened to be armed run across Ofc. Bailey and decided to rob him at 6am. Hopefully the reward and the fact that there are mulitple offenders from a robbery crew will yeild an arrest and conviction.
