During Sunday afternoon’s debate at Trinity United Church of Christ -- Jeremiah Wright’s old congregation -- Moseley Braun told Patricia Watkins, “the reason you didn’t know where I was for the last 20 years, ’cause you were strung out on crack.”
The crowd hooted. Miguel del Valle and Gery Chico looked mortified. (Emanuel, who refuses to participate in community forums, was absent.) Soon after, Moseley Braun left the sanctuary, fleeing in her SUV.

I was listening to the 98.7 last night (the classical station) and they had some reporters from the Reader on. The topic was CPD torture. One of the reporters wrote a book detailing the abuses of three groups; the Brits in Northern Ireland, the Israelis in Palestine and the Chicago Police Department.
They are painting a picture of us as thugs and torturers. This is going to make it easier for them to steal our pensions after the public's opinion is swayed. Rahm has begun his campaign to take us down. Any cop voting for him deserves what he's going to do.

I am surprised that with all of the black leadership talent in this city, only these two inept and unqualified women are on the ballot. It just seems that the corrupt democratic party has tainted so much of the black leadership. Paying off none of her debt, returning to her sham government subsidized small business, under a different name and claim another 5 years of zero growth and $200,000 of losses with a $3,000 a year salary.
