St. Baldrick's Event

Word is the fundraising is a little bit behind last year's totals. The economy is rough and times are tough all over, but this is a worthwhile cause that has always proved to be a good time:
  • St. Baldrick's is one month away and it's not too late to sign up. Come join us on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Academy, Area 2 or Area 5 from 0700 - 1700 hours as we raise money to help fund research for a cure to childhood cancer. Just go to THIS LINK RIGHT HERE!!! and choose the location that's best for you. Click on "participate" under participants and get yourself signed up. Hope to see you on March 11th!
You can sponsor a "shavee" if you're attached to your own locks. Ask around they're out there collecting pledges.

I will be photographing the event again. I will post the pictures taken @ A/5 on my website for FREE DOWNLOADING. I will be there from 0700 to 1900.

I will say, The last to years have been nothing short of an honor. Every year I see Sara Mortorano there she makes me smile ear to ear. We take a yearly picture together.

Be a part of this years video. I am a team player and one who likes to brainstorm. If you have any ideas for a theme, or music you would like to be used in this years video please post them.

Once the St. Baldricks commitee and all of the shavee's compile a list of music, we will then use as much of your ideas as we possibly can. See you there!

Also feel free to contact
Anne Zamzow in A/5 (312)746-5090 with any questions or to sign up for St. Baldricks 2011.

Videos from St. Baldricks 2010 @
A/5 will be available for purchase. ALL PROCEEDS will go to St Baldricks.

Go 017 Baldrick shavee!!

So I'm reading the FOP news letter and find out there is a grievance over "No Representation" during the mandatory breathalyzer and urine test after a member fires his weapon. FOP is writing this in the News letter but when I shot a pit-bull two months ago and called FOP twice they never return my call and gave me NO information or advised me of such a Grievance. Wast my time leaving a message with name, employee number, and cell number. It's a sad state of affairs when you can say IAD treated me better then my own union!

Great cause!

I am certain that the three who are running it for the CPD have not been promoted for it and nor will they.

Those promotions are reserved for females, and ex-girlfriends of certain people, and only for the running activities.
