Another Felon on the Streets
An 11-time convicted felon opted for a simple smash-and-grab job to get at dozens of cartons of Newport 100s cigarettes at a Loop Walgreens this morning, Chicago police said.
Unfortunately for Robert Hilson, an off-duty gang enforcement cop saw the whole thing.
Following a foot chase and fight, the off-duty was assisted by a citizen and managed to hold the felon for responding officers. But really, an 11-time loser shouldn't be on the streets. Rehabilitation obviously passed this piece of shit by and he has no desire to live within the rules. We don't really care if the liberals drum up some studies about how "three strikes" laws don't work We certainly don't see 11 trips to the joint working on this jagoff either.
We're more than willing to have garbage like this serve out their time breaking rocks and hopefully eating unhealthy prison diets so they die faster.

He'll be back on the street in less than a week, you can count on it. Governor Quinn believes our prison system is unjust and filled with innocent men. What a fargin' icehole this guy is.
They were just testing on the first 11 to see what would happen; NOW they'll get serious.
Give him theft school that'll teach him
Great job by the officer
I read this, and did a double take on # 11, and said , WHAT THE FUCK....Only in shitcago...That IRISH jagoff condoned a lot of SHIT to go on for decades, and turn this place to a spineless free for all. FUCK U DALEY

OK, this time we really mean it! Don't do it again OR ELSE! No joking around buster, you understand? You just knock it off!
This loser is on the street and Cozzi is not. What a FU#*ing crime.
Great job off duty P.O. You are making a real difference out there.
But Cozzi gets 40 months....
Let's give him one more try.
We need to ditch all this kinder/gentler bullshit.
We need a "three strikes and we take you out back to the wood chipper" law.
It does Quinn and the Chicago Democrats no good to incarcerate this shithead. Hilson is more valuable to The Machine on the streets, menacing hard working taxpayers.
HEY!!!
WHATSA MATTA WIT YOU???
Dude did his time an got his clean slate!
It ain't his fault he's a model prisoner and keeps gettin' out o jail early!
Ryan on tape: 'I pardoned guys I knew were guilty'
The prisons and jails are overcrowded. They routinely release non-violent offenders. For one, the libs do not believe people convicted of non violent offenses should even be in jail.
I've really been surprised that cigarettes don't get taken more often. Why stick up a store for their cash? Take the smokes. Each pack is almost a ten dollar bill...
Technology??!!
I can't wait until the liberals become bigger targets for crime. It will happen and could not come soon enough. They're good at telling people what to do and how to think from behind closed doors. Once they get a foot in their ass they change their mind's rather qiuck. To all you criminals who may read this blog, go get the liberal, they are the one's with money and will not put up a fight whatsoever. They are weak in mind and body you will never reap so much then from a liberal.
this is what happens when a person is held to ''no morale behavior'' at all. being PC sure has screwed up this society. ship him off to gitmo...he is an ENEMY OF THE STATE/URBAN TERRORIST. and ship all the crybabie libs with him.
He will probably sue the officer for putting hands on him. It's the officer's fault that he'll never get into Harvard Law School.
Screw a 3 Strikes Law.
I want to be allowed to load Hollowpoints and Hydroshock Rounds into my 9mm.
What else is new? The judges here are all paid-off and you expected justice?

The desirability of window glass is entirely dependent upon the existence of a social contract. Cancel said contract, the stuff ain't there.
It cheers me that "drug barons" in Latin America build for themselves lavishly-appointed marble-walled boxes with 6" slits for windows.
A. Takes one to know one.
B. If there's ever a fire...
Had a prisoner, about 50 years old, many convictions, sentenced to 55 years in prison since he was 17. All for burglary and he was arrested once again, for burglary. How could you get sentenced to 55 years in prison over about 33 or 34 years and be on the street? If the taxpaying (that's right, people with jobs that are legal) public actually realized how little time most of these shits actually serve, they'd be outraged.

Because our system is based on protecting the innocent. Unfortunately, in order for the innocent to be protected, a few guilty ones will fall through the cracks, like this POS. Kudos the the odpo.
Nice job to the off duty office and the citizen!
We need 3 strike laws and labor camps not prisons. I am sick of paying for shit bags to watch tv, work out and continue their bullshit in prison, let alone being let out because the system is overcrowded and understaffed.
Put the shit bags to work and make them pay for there time they are behind bars.

Well, hopefully we won't make the same mistake in your case, George!
I'm very pro rehabilitation for offenders. It doesn't always work, but it works just enough to make it a worthwhile effort.
That said, I'm equally in favor of "throw away the key" for assholes who refuse to rehabilitate after being given ample opportunity to do so.
