More Preseason Action

Last week we speculated that the second exhibition game couldn't be worse than the first.

The Bears proved us wrong.

Now the injury bug seems to have bitten them:
  • Linebacker Lance Briggs, nose tackle Anthony Adams, tight end Kellen Davis, receiver Sam Hurd and defensive end Corey Wootton are in street clothes as expected for tonight's Bears-Titans exhibition.

Briggs continues to recover from a bruised knee while Adams has a calf strain. Davis has a stiff back and Hurd is sidelined with a sprain ankle. Wootton remains a few weeks away from recovery off arthroscopic knee surgery.
Looks like it might be another season of betting the spread and hoping for decent squares in the office pool. Oops, did we say "office pool?" Sorry. We meant ...uh... ah screw it. We gamble for matchsticks and lemon drops. Is it wrong?

It's preseason, you don't play starters if they're even the slightest bit banged up. I'd guess that all of them would play if it was a regular season game

It's PRE-season people ! ! !

They were 0-4 last pre-season and ended up one win away from the Super Bowl.

Save the gloom and doom for the games that count!

Send this bum team to work on a chain gang in Arkansas and free up Soldier Field for Gladiatorial pageants featuring CPS inmates.

Fuck em.

Just about all the experts say the NFC North is going to be, top to bottom, toughest division in pro football.

They pick Pack and Bears to fight it out for division, the Lions could be tough. No one goes better than 6-2 in division.

More passes to rookie WR #18 Dane Sanzenbacher. Ohio State Buckeye MVP in a landslide and All Big 10 last season. Great moves, soft hands and a huge ♥.
