More Scandal
This one's been percolating for a bit we imagine:
- Big shake up at ERP's. Lt was selling stuff and taking stuff for his own gain. He is now at call back. IAD handling this one.
- SCC, major scandal at ERPS. IAD locked up the LT in charge last night for stealing tons of shit out of there. How many other exempts were using it as a personal shopping mall? This one will be interesting.
- It's crazy over at Unit 167. I was told that the Commanding Officer was removed and placed in call back. He would be destroying stuff or placing it in his pocket.
- What's the deal with Lt. M. CO of ERPS getting picked up by IAD while leaving work yest? There is already a new Lt. at ERPS who has taken his place.
Thanks a lot. Someone want to point out who put this idiot in a position of authority?

Half the people at REPS have CB#'s. They put them in call back then move them over to ERPS. I guess he will be back after a month or two.
If everything was on the up and up. Everyone at 167 would have twice as many piss drops and be removed when ever any questions arise. I wounder how many looked the other way to get favors or to get help on their troubles.
All the drugs, property, money, guns, jewelry and contraband are their. Only the most honest should be their. How about random credit checks.
I inventory all this crap. Risk my life and some @$$holes just makes a buck and sends the stuff back to the streets. This is how police and the public get killed.

at Auction time when property was displayed and certain big bosses would check out the stuff. If the bosses liked some items...

Winter Sale at ERPS cancelled do to low shipments and stocking. Employee under ringing and shoplifting has lost the department money for another year. Heading into the year 2012 we expect no change to be reported per MC Supper.
New Lt taking his place. It doesn't take long for the new guy to be taking something also. I say dump the whole bunch. Start from scatch. The military would do a top to bottom personal change. That's to ensure the integrity of the unit and process. I hate to see court cases get thrown out because evidence is in question at a holding facility.

If there was property theft in a unit of that importance. They better do an audit on property for the unit and bring in a few timekeepers for a compensatory time audit. Who really knows what was going on and for how long.

Soooooo to protect the clouted and not conduct an investigation to find the thief/thieves, make everyone inventory property before it can get to the thieves. Just made a different set of thieves??? You have got to be kidding me. They will not move the sensitive Chiefs, especially the Chief of IAD. There are way too many coverups being conducted right now. Juan Rivera could bring alot of people down but he is playing nice, with the promise of being taken care of down the road.
IAD is and has been the most CORRUPT unit on the CPD. Never trust them, they are only there to protect the CLOUTED.
The FBI and the US Attorneys Office should be handling the investigation of the ERPS thefts, not IAD.
The thefts at ERPS will result in many civil lawsuits and good criminal cases being tossed. It also resulted in narcotics going back on the streets and guns that could possibly kill you or me.
I am so sick of the lies and coverups on the CPD. Everyone, but the 100% blind and naive know that the entire department is rotted out with corruption and CLOUT!
I don't care if the Lieutenant is 63 with 33 years on and CLOUTED. Make an example of him, he should be Federally charged and sent to prison.

The only stripped officers that are assigned to ERPS, LEADS desk or Gun desk are the CLOUTED ones or those who are cooperating with a Federal inquiry.
All the rest are tossed into Callback.

IAD is the only unit that knows what an officer's real disciplinary history is. They bury and wash personnel files for the CLOUTED ones.
Look at PO Victor Brown, it took three attempts to get him terminated. What it really took was the FBI and the US Attorneys Office and some straight CPD officers to bury this corruption machine.
Victor Brown had a suburban pinch by Rosemont PD while at Callback and beat it.
Victor Brown was CLOUTED! Allegedly, even paying off Police Board members to fix cases while soliciting clients (stripped PO's) on company time at Callback.
Notice that the Police Board scandal was buried! A few PB members switched out and business as usual.
I thought Mayor Rahm Emmanuel was going to get rid of this CLOUT board???

First off people... Chief B.C. placed her girl Lt.G in place.The new Sgt. also B.C. guy, was placed there 2 weeks ago. As far as the people there, some have done almost all there careers at ERPS. There are people there that have 15 years on the job and have been there 14 of those years. They have a person who came because she was pregnant and had her kid 6mo ago and was to return to her district after the kid came...still there.
Mayor giggles did take people out of there but it was by the Lts choice. One of the people who had to go to the street is 60 years old but don"t take the 2year wonder

Wrong.
ERPS has been the private shopping center for the bosses for years. Look for the good coppers who were dumped out of there without getting stripped. They were the ones who said no to the crooks.
The "Outfit" has always placed individuals in sensitive areas within the CPD to eradicate evidence, gather intelligence, thwart investigations, leak confidential/sensitive material and to keep an eye on working coppers who were/are getting too close to operations.
Today, this has extended to the multi-billion dollar narco-gangs ( Mexican Mafia, Cartels, Street Gangs, Gypsies, Eastern European Crews, etc)
The CPD is full of these plants. The administration needs to clean house at ERPS and start fresh by placing "CLEAN" officers in sensitive spots.
The NYPD wold handle this situation in a much different manner. Why is progress and integrity compromised on the CPD?
The working coppers deserve better!!!

Not exactly, there is much, much more to this one that that and you know it.
Once again, the vast corruption , criminality, and mis-supervision of the CPD surfaces on a now almost weekly basis. As an Officer & Taxpayer, I am completely disgusted. Now publicly embarrassed to be part of this cesspool organization.
This is what happens when CLOUT runs amuck and there is no accountability!
How many of the Old Tailor Shop minions are still left on the CPD?
How many hooked up clowns are there still left?
One thing that J-Fed did correctly was to purge as many of these parasites from our ranks as possible.
Expect many more to go down for their involvement in this fiasco.
There are still more scandals erupting and unfortunately they will be worse than this one.
Proactive action is much better than reactive action!
Why won't the CPD rid itself of the known on-the-job criminals?
J-Fed had the right idea by compartmentalizing IAD. IAD is still way too porous and there are still way too many leaks.

When ERPS starts to reassign all their people watch them cry. They once said we have a good boss. I'll bet he was giving early ducks to get everyone out of the building. That way he had the place to himself. Great boss. All impersonators didn't see it coming. Hard workers don't look the other way. How many over there remember they took an oath. Don't blame mccarthy , rahm hasn't given him the green light on dumping exempts . His only promotion was a daley , rahm pick.

NO, I wouldn't! Real police officers have integrity, courage, honor and commitment. I would not be bought off for a few shekels of silver and lose my proverbial soul.

Lt M completely lied, with a straight, face when he CLAIMED he had no control over whose details were being cancelled from ERPS. Supposedly, that was up to BC after he submitted everyone's job description. What did I call his list? Creative writing 101/bullsh@t!!! None of his buddies were dumped ONLY minorites which consisted of women, blacks and hispanics. Things that make you go hmmmm........I hope Lt M is enjoying HIS new "Happy Home"

For those claiming you have to have clout to go to ERPS if stripped, I call BS. I was stripped and offered to go down there 2 years ago and I have NO clout. Claimed they were looking for trust worthy officers to work there. Now I know why. Glad I turned it down.

Bet you weren't complaining when Lt. let u go early, and didn't burn your time. Didn't require you to stand up in roll call with a polished uniform. Didn't give u shit for being late or calling in. Why does the public hate us so? Why wouldn't they? We hate ourselves even more. Maybe the Lt. did steal and if so should be punished severely, or maybe he didnt. We really like to jump to the worst possible conclusions about our fellow officers. Should this turn out that he did nothing wrong, who will remember that? Not a soul! I have met the man and I do not care for him but, because I dont like him that doesnt mean he is guilty of all or even any of what has been said about him here. There is plently of time to lay blame, why do we never wait until the facts filter out? God this department really is going to shit.

Not one white male was dumped. In fact, a white male had recently arrived into the unit but of course it was VM friends (Retired Sgt) son.

Are the civilians really criminals? Is the timekeeper really a joke? Was the choice to boot certain officer really on the Lt? I don't know the answer to these questions, but I do know that that WE ARE NOT GOD!! So WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE?? If those that are accused of being criminals, were, then why aren't they in the same place as the LT. The timekeeper being a joke: is that person really a joke or is that person just doing what they are instructed to do? Were they just recording the info given to them? Those booted from the district, did they really believe the great Lt M was looking out for them? Or did they chalk it up as a lost? In the end if all this is true is it your case to call? NO!!! It's GOD!!! So answer this, WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE ANY OF THEM? PRAYER IS WHAT'S MISSING HERE!! Prayer for all involve for the TRUTH!! For clarity!! For Knowledge!!
