Another Car Wreck?
Are these assholes driving hot cars deliberately ramming squad cars once they're discovered? Because this seems to be happening more than usual:
Two Chicago police officers in an SUV were injured during a head-on collision with a stolen car near 108th Street and Perry Avenue on the Far South Side about 12:25 a.m. today, police said.
The two officers were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center with non-life-threatening injures, Chicago Police Department News Affairs [...] said.
Police said the car, a 2008 Volvo, was carjacked about 7 a.m. Friday from the 300 block of East 75th Street. Police said two armed men and two women were involved in the carjacking.
Once again, best wishes to the officers for speedy recoveries. The shorthanded watches are getting shorter as summer approaches.

The bad guy figured out that the judges do not punish them any more if they take a swing at an officer. Now comes the next logical step. Ramming them with the stolen car does not incur any additional penalties either.
There is no sense of public outrage that their police force is under attack. We have been so vilified by the bottom feeding lawyers and the Mayor. The Media is in bed with them, and so, the judges will continue to "let them go".
What the public doesn't realise is: if they no longer fear arrest and prosecution, what will they do to them?

Why is anyone still doing police work. The citizens don't care, the criminals don't care, the revrunds don't care and the politicians don't care. All they care about is police hating and suing your ass. They only one who gives a shit is you.......and for what......so you are laid up in a hospital bed and missing another family event. So you can't go court and make any ot or work your side job? You will get your court off signed complaints.
The city will bury you as will the race baiting nation and media. You and your familywill pay the sacrifes for something no one will care about an hour after u decided to play supercooled. Give it up. Policing is done as is this city. Answer your calls and move on. Thia is what the city wants.

Yes.
Any kind of traffic stop has become a terrible hazard. Those are wild animals in there. Try to run over officers, ram cars out of the way, take off up the sidewalk at high speed, anything.
It is routine now.

I disagree with the poster that said don't write the tinted Windows ticket. That is one that I always write because it affects our safety.
It's probably the only way to get away from the police in some video game so now they are trying it for real.
I wonder if the shitbirds have concluded that the city isn't replacing wrecked squads as fast as stolen SUVs can wreck them. Bigger jacked cars assure some measure of survivability too. Disable the unit and hurt officers can't sprint after them as fast...
Of course these idiots are doing it on purpose...
