Killer Kills Again - Times Three
Quick work catches a suspect in the triple homicide the other day. And guess what? He has a record for homicide of all things:
- A man who finished serving a sentence for murder four months ago has been charged with a triple-slaying last week that left a South Side home strewn with bullet-riddled bodies.
Curtis A. Davis Jr. was once friends with the three men he’s now charged with shooting to death March 27 at an apartment in the West Woodlawn neighborhood, prosecutors said.
Dozens of shell casings littered the scene, and one victim was found on the porch, his body disfigured by 33 bullet wounds, authorities said.
Out for four months and now headed back inside. Who would have thought that prison could fail so spectacularly to actually rehabilitate a hardened criminal?

I read in the papers that this mutt was sentenced to 40 years back in 1989... He should be in prision until 2029!!! Where's the outrage???

If you murder someone,your sentence should only be finished when you die in prision.

When I make a decision to befriend someone, they must meet some minimum criteria.
They must not cheat on their wives. If they cheat on the mother of their children, how would they treat me?
They must treat their children well. Fruit of their loins, a good indicator of character.
Oh yeah, they must not have MURDERED anyone! But that's just me.
First of all, prison does not rehabilitate anyone. Period, lets get that straight. Second, for murder, and maybe its just me but that should be life in prison, zero change of parole or execution. How can you lock someone up in these prisons and expect them to lead any chance of life? Do these judges know what goes down in these prisons? I am beginning to think someone is playing a cruel joke on us by letting these beasts out of prison.

He may get "Life" this time. How a Governor could take away the Death Penalty and saying he was protecting those innocently convicted of violent crimes. Hope you love your prison sentence Governor and I hope Bubba met up with you too while you have been enjoying your stay as a payback to you for your stupid decision.

I agree wholeheartedly, but these fucking judges let murderers go after a seemingly small amount of time in relation to having taken another person's life. I guess it is the votes that really matter. To hell with the law.....

Add to that the fact that people do, in fact, falsely admit to raping and killing their children and you have an NBC primetime special.

Preckwinkle is following the same program now at the Juvenile Center. Juveniles on triple probation that are constantly being arrested are not being housed. Numerous crimes that have been reported in the media that have been committed by juveniles that if committed in another jurisdiction the crimes would not have been committed by these juveniles. Reason being they would have been in custody. The Cook County Democratic Party needs to stop catering to the gang bangers.

Charges have been dropped against 80-year-old Homer Wright, who shot a 19-year-old home invader in the leg.
The guy was like a bug-eyed wild animal in the mug shot, visibly out-of-his-mind dangerous. Pried boards off a window and climbed in looking for liquor.
Someone else will undoubtedly have to finish the job someday.

This will undoubtedly lead to more killings.
Just saw Tom Dart on the news. They're teaching inmates to play chess. Now if they would just remove the weights so they can't develop those shithouse muscles to be better able to fight the police once they serve a quarter or less of their sentence.
It seriously never ceases to amaze me that some of the bad guys I run across have 30 or 40 page sheets and are out on the street.
