Crime Strategies Working

  • One man died and eight others were wounded in separate shooting attacks across the city Friday night and Saturday morning, police said.

What variable may have kept the shooting to a minimum? Rapid deployment to hot spots? Driving in circles in the box? A massive hiring wave and legit promotions of qualified individuals to lead this department into the 21st century?

  • How about rainstorms following a cool front that drove temperatures into the upper 40's.
Could it really be that simple?

Yes it is that simple.!!!

Outcast Ceasefire and donate A.C units and swimming pools.

Also,
Invest in interior decorating some of the neighborhood homes and you won't see people hanging on porches and traveling to shopping malls.
Park district is doing a terrible job.,,,
Million dollar churches next to torn blocks?
How many times you have to blame a liquor store sitting next to one of these churches that do nothing but talk about "the community". I call them action figure churches. They should be hosting domestic initiatives on their own...in support of " the communities..."

Wait until Puerto Rican Fest and 100 degree weather in July and August!

As residents, our big concern for the month of June is the gang magnet which takes place the weekend of the 16th. We're literrally sending the women and children out of town this year. Tried to call both the Whitehouse and Mayor Tiny Dancer to see if we could get riot protection, like they had for NATO, but got hung up on both times.

Shootings are already way ahead of last year and we are expecting a bloodbath as part of the festival.

One network may even put a camera on a famous intersection, just west of the Park, at Beach, so they have a live feed, 24/7, and can show Chicago and the world what really happens on Saturday night.

It's gonna be a long hot summer!

g-mac start now thinking of a new plan cause this one wont work. if you have a set tell the news media more pos would be a step in the right direction. and if this happens by the time they get on the street, we will need more. cease fire is sure to fail. making the same mistake again and again is a sign of stupidy. what ever money you give to these conifers is chump change compared to dope profits.

Still at least 8 trips to the emergency rooms at maybe $100,000 a pop depending on the injuries. That's close to a million bucks - no wonder there is no Medicaid for others who truly need it!

SCC, U obviously heard about a bank robbery in Oak Lawn right on the SW Border of 022? They blocked off 111th causing all those cars to go north to 107th. The Police blocked off 107th & all off Pulaski down to roughly 103Rd & Pulaski. I counted at least 3 birds in the air as "the word" was the offender(s) were still in area. This went on easily till 23:00 hrs. Just curious if any1(s) were caught? Oak Lawn, Evergreen Pk, and Bridgeview R all on same zone, but Hometown was called in for traffic control. It was an every 5 minute update on the radio, but was wondering what others knew as far a placing some1(s) in custody.

Careful with tying the numbers of shootings to warmer weather. The next thing you know Pflegar and his band of idiot excuse makers will blame the killings on.................GLOBAL WARMING!

Another conspiracy by the wealthy to keep minorities in check.

They could put another 5000 cops on the street and it really won't make that much of a difference. Why, you ask do I dare speak such heresy? Because once a cop gets tired of the horseshit he must endure to actually lock up and see some criminal go to jail, he grows tired in a hurry. Plus, do you really want to risk your life to get someone sentenced to double secret, electronically monitored, intensified, super secret probation? Fool gets sentenced to 2 years in prison and somehow is back on the street in under a year.

The politicians are breaking their asses to let people back out on the street because incarceration costs money. Plus, they want to let the criminal communities families know just how sensitive they are to the plight of these people.

What we really need is some more coppers hired to replace the retirees and new politicians. We need to vote these people out of office and hold their replacements feet to the fire.

When I meet people from other states, you tell them you are from Chicago, they are duly impressed you are the big city police and after that, they laugh their asses off about you living here. How many governors of your state have been in prison? How broke is your state? Did they ever overturn the handgun ban? It's like Illinois has become the Louisiana of the Midwest as far as corruption is concerned and California as far as fruity new laws and broken economy. And then like locusts, these fools flee Illinois and bring Illinois mentality with them and infect the new place they live in. If 3 million people from Cook County/Chicago fled to Texas, they'd ruin the state. These damn fools don't know how things are supposed to be and they'd go about setting up another paradise, just like one they left back home.

What happened?

Did the check to the Cease Fire people bounce ALREADY?

That wouldn't be surprising since the city is bankrupt.

Or maybe the Cease Fire people are all out buying flashlights for when they have to go " down in the dark basements where the people with the guns are getting high".

I would like to give a class at the park district for Future Thugs/Criminals of Chicago. Basic stuff. Shooting tips, low profile operations, seamless gang mgmt changes, etc. The city and I would both make a few bucks and we'd use the facilities during otherwise dead time midnight to five am. Daytime for disciples.

"Crime strategies working"

The only foolproof crime strategy is sending out the NAM's using section 8 vouchers into the surrounding suburbs. This would reduce all crime in the city by 80%. Instead of needing 12,000 police we could do with only 2,000 police. Imagine how low our taxes would be!! Another benefit for Chicago, our public schools test scores would then spike up to ridiculously high national levels. Can you imagine our high school scoring an average of 22 on the ACT test! We could be a model city for all the world to admire. Low crime rate, high educational results, high community involvement etc., in stead of sinking to the levels of such cities like Baltimore, Gary, Atlanta, Camden, St.Louis, East St,Louis, Memphis, Detroit, Flint, Oakland, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Houston, Milwaukee, Newark, etc, etc, etc,. You get the idea. Maybe someone can find the commonality. I doubt it though, the propaganda machine is too insidious.

I truly believe the city doesn't want the drugs that drive the crime to stop because the city cannot handle the economic impact of the lost revenue.

These street corner drug markets attract money to the city just like the air show and the Taste of Chicago and all the rest of the city fests.

It's about the money!! The mayor and alderman don't want to hurt that money no matter where it comes from or whose blood is on it.
