Election Lawsuits
Yesterday, Democrats filed challenges to all eight of the recently-slated Republican candidates for State Legislature in the City of Chicago. The filings were an attempt to knock Republicans off the ballot, giving the Democrats a free ride in the the November election. If the objections were to be sustained, voters in most districts would have only a single choice on the ballot in the fall.
"Chicago Democrats have driven this state into the ground, and they're rightly worried about voters punishing them at the ballot box this November," said Adam Robinson, Chairman of the Chicago Republican Party. "It's shameful, but not surprising, that they're attempting to deny Chicago voters a choice. We will vigorously defend our candidates' right to run for office."

There is no difference especially in Illinois between democrats and republicans. So choose your poison. Either party will steal from you equally.

Unfortunately I feel we're doomed any way you look at it unless and until we can get corporate campaign donation money out of politics.
Some of these corporations doing the campaign donation financing have large foreign shareholders and so who is our government representing anymore? The people can't compete financially. The Wis Governor recall is a prime example.
Sure we need change. However just like your CPD brothers the politicians will sell out to the people providing the money. They will vote for the people providing the money. The government has been bought and sold.
I challenge everyone to vote the incumbents out and lets see how long and how much money it takes before the corporations corrupt them too.
Get the money out of politics. And not like Rahm and Daly where you remove a law allowing your campaign war chest to be funded full enough to last maybe a decade and then put the law back in place so no one else can pull the same shit while calling it campaign finance reform and acting all noble. B.s.!

When tyrants take power and prevent the system from running as it should, the founding fathers gave us the answer to the problem.
There's a Chicago Republican Party? Who knew? It's got to be like one of those aboriginal tribes in the Amazon that only comes in contact with the outside world once every five years or so.
Heck, the government is suing Florida because they are purging their records.

Democratic Senator Dick Durbin said the roll cull would hurt communities traditionally seen as voting Democratic.
He said that of the 2,600 registered voters last month believed to not be US citizens, 87 percent were minorities.
"The overwhelming majority of people on the list were registered independents and Democrats," Durbin said.

That is the problem.. the DEMOCRATS keeping REPUBLICAN'S off the ticket.. I lived and voted in CHICAGO for 40 years.. Much of my family still lives in CHICAGO years ago we noticed we have NO choice .. towns outside CHICAGO are the ONLY hope to mix things up..
there is a difference between the parties IF one does there homework and votes for the person who best represents their values..
BTW .. 9 out of 10 people DO NOT watch all those campaign commercials anymore.. so instead of whining about support money how about donating $5 or $10 to a candidate YOU want to support it all adds up.. spread the word on the candidate of your choice..and state why.. get out and do some foot work for the candidate..work the phones..
Walker won because TAXPAYERS are tired of being TAXED just because they exist..and having their rights taken away by no class shows of fake compassion from the Communist.. Marxist..Socialists who showed up and made FOOLS of themselves..

Michael Mcauliffe and company fucked his mentor Brian Doherty by doing a back room deal with the democrats to stop a republican (cop). from running against that pos Mulroe.The same Mulroe who Doherty helped for years and then fucked Doherty.Mulroe is the same jag off who voted for the huge tax increase,the dream act for illegals and the sponsor of the bill to take or reduce our colas.He hates the Police along with conner from the 41st,even though their is more POs in the 10th/41 then anywhere in the city.So no good democrat candidate will run against him,McAullife sides with the democrats especially Mulroe and Oconner.Further he endorsed that big fat Police impersonator Rice in the 36th ward against Nick Sposato.It's time to elect real Republicans instead of traitors.
