Thanks Weis

J-Fled - the gift that keeps on giving:
  • A man filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the Chicago Crime Commission alleging the non-profit damaged his reputation by falsely stating he was a leader of a local gang in a law enforcement book.

Edward Arroyo says the Chicago Crime Commission’s Gang Book, which was released in January, falsely said he was a leader in Roselle of the Spanish Gangster Disciples, according to the lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit court.

Arroyo’s name and picture are featured on a page in the book dedicated to the Spanish Gangster Disciples leadership, but he says he is not affiliated with any gangs or “criminal enterprise,” according to the lawsuit.

This will be very interesting. Maybe the Crime Commission can hand out those smiley face stickers like the ones on the Blago billboards and instruct all the police departments, government agencies and other owners of the book to paste it over this guy's mug.

Executive Order -- Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions

http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/07/06/executive-order-assignment-national-security-and-emergency-preparedness-

President Obama Assumes Control of All Domestic Communications

"In an order entitled the "Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions,” the president quietly produced an edict that places the nation’s entire communications spectrum and infrastructure — private and public — under the control of the White House."

"...the executive order was issued without any sort of announcement or signing ceremony typical of President Obama’s self-congratulatory style..."

"Americans who use cellphones, the Internet, or other radio-based means of communication should understand that as a result of this latest executive order, President Obama has placed all these things under his sole supervision. The president’s order places under his personal purview all radio and digital communications, commanding that all of these signals can be intercepted by the president, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, or other intelligence agencies as directed by the president."

In the wake of the recent consent decree between the USDOJ and the embattled New Orleans Police Department, NOLA has initiated a nationwide search for a new chief for the NOPD. Obviously, the new police chief will require integrity, courage, leadership, the capability to resurrect NOPD morale and to bring about meaningful reforms.

Go for it, J-FLED! You da man...

For particulars, check THEE [NYPD) RANT and "Shaved".

Imagine that. Not only is Chicago "the most politically corrupt city in the nation", we can now lay claim to being the nation's WORST HELLHOLE.

BLOOMBERG CALLS FOR NATIONAL POLICE STRIKE UNTIL CITIZENS DISARM...

Michael Bloomberg on stronger gun laws: "I don't understand why the police officers across this country don't stand up collectively and say we're going to go on strike"

This evening, Piers Morgan invited Mayor Michael Bloomberg to join him in studio for an honest and revealing discussion in the aftermath of Friday's deadly shooting in Aurora, CO.

In a primetime exclusive interview, the head of the executive branch of New York City's government provided his solution for implementing stricter gun laws in America:

"I don't understand why the police officers across this country don't stand up collectively and say we're going to go on strike," Bloomberg told the "Piers Morgan Tonight" host. "We're not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what's required to keep us safe."

This is why they hate blogs like this one so much. They know the media bends over for them and supports their lies by telling people it's too hot near the cool water at just two beaches.

The blogs terrify them because they can't control the truth getting out to the public. They need to be able to shut it off.

This is what the communists and Nazis did. Now the communist obaMAO can do it here in the America he hates and wants to remove as a superpower. But guess who will come out in droves to vote for him again? That's right. They want to be in chains.

It must be pointed out that a genuine "paradigm shift" occurred when the emphasis shifted from the police protecting the public to the public protecting the police.

The antis did this talk-flip, and unfortunately many police organizations began to echo it.

Thank God melt-point legislation got rid of cheap die-cast "Saturday Night Specials," those RG-22s and s__t.

Stuff got bigger, resulting in the nationwide drive to get vests on coppers.

Now the bangers have AK-47s -- like the rap video showed them to get.

Thanks also to the entertainment industry for their "social responsibility" here. Ha.

If Webb is looking to charge someone with a state crime then one would think the grand jury must he held in a state courthouse.

Does that mean that we can now have grand juries for someone accused of harming a police officer at 35th and Michigan???

OT: Rahm announces BIG positive job increase for the city (in Crains). Google to add 3,000 jobs in the Merchandise Mart for the former Motorola Mobility division.

A HUGE QUESTION - How many are US citizens and how many are going to be H-1B Visa workers who ARE NOT citizens.

They probably put the jobs downtown so they can use all the condo buildings that never sold and turn them into apartments where all these foreigners can live.

They already do that at Presidential Towers where you get 8 guys in a two-bedroom apartment.

Great for Motorola Mobility - cheap foreign labor in a centralized location. BAD FOR ILLINOIS.

Where are the jobs for the citizens, homeowners and the taxpayers??

You guys don't understand this because it's not your field but realize this: With NO jobs for those paying taxes and property taxes, don't expect any more raises.

A friend just went to a Job Fair in the suburbs. He said people looking for jobs were 99.8% white in their 40-60s. One company there was looking for engineers and a guy went up and said I'm an engineer that can do what you are looking for- what are you paying?

The woman said, "$13 an hour". For a degreed engineer? If that's how bad the economy has gotten in Illinois, you better start looking for a new state to work in. People who used to get $70,000- $90,000 as engineers getting $13 an hour?? That's $520 a week BEFORE taxes. Gross wages that's about $26,000 a year.

I know many of you are real wound up about YOUR salaries but with salaries like that in this state, the ONLY taxpayer who is making money to afford YOUR salary is another government worker.

This economy is F-ked.

It is my opinion that the beginning of the end began when CPD adopted the CAPS program. Warm and Fuzzy became the order of the day. The concurrent demise of genuine pro-active policing via then new restrictions on things such as vehicle chases and enhanced discipline for not towing the line started us down this road. Additionally, those members of the Department that "drank the "Kool-Aid"" back then were rewarded with meritorious promotions for their spinelessness and many of them are now or have been our Command Staff. I hope this gives you some historical perspective.

EDITORIAL: Chicago values and the Fruit of Islam
Mayor of Murdertown ignores Muslim biases

By THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Thursday, July 26, 2012

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel waltzed into the Chick-fil-A controversy Wednesday when he declared, "Chick-fil-A's values are not Chicago value. And if you're gonna be part of the Chicago community, you should reflect Chicago values." He wants to block the restaurant chain from expanding in his city because its owner made public statements in defense of traditional marriage.

It's unclear what Mr. Emanuel meant by the expression "Chicago values." The Windy City is known for many things, but being a moral beacon is not one of them. During the Obama administration the expression "Chicago style" has not come to refer to a caring, cooperative approach to politics but the crass, bullying approach upon which Mr. Emanuel built his reputation.

Given the spike in gang violence and soaring murder rates, Mr. Emanuel has been desperate to avoid being known as the "Mayor of Murdertown." On the same day the mayor chastised Chick-fil-A, he welcomed Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam in an effort to secure Chicago's streets. He said the Muslim group has decided to "help protect the community, and that's an important ingredient, like all the other aspects of protecting a neighborhood." Red-bow-tied men known as the Fruit of Islam have already deployed in some neighborhoods in an attempt to quell the out-of-control violence.

Presumably Mr. Emanuel believes that the Nation of Islam represents Chicago values. The first Jewish mayor of Chicago appears willing to overlook Mr. Farrakhan's history of anti-Semitic statements, as well as his Koran-based opposition to homosexuality. Last May, Mr. Farrakhan told a group of followers that the increasing public acceptance of homosexuality is evidence of the work of the devil. "The Koran says, Satan has made evil fair-seeming to them," he said. He stood firmly against same-sex marriage, saying that "Sin is sin according to the standard of God." He chastised Christian, Jewish and Muslim religious leaders for compromising on the issue, even saying that Muslims who condone homosexuality are enemies of Islam. He said that the Newsweek cover declaring President Obama the "first gay president" was a mockery, and said he should be called, "the first president that sanctioned what the scriptures forbid."

In 2009 Mr. Farrakhan said that homosexuality is "a learned behavior" and has its origins in predators sensing that children are vulnerable and "then some man will take advantage of that tenderness and engage a child in homosexual behavior." As for lesbians, they exist because men have failed to support women, so they find comfort with each other. "Sin is what has reduced us to a subhuman level," he said. "I know that homosexuality is growing and rampant in the black community today. America's becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah."

The Nation of Islam also operates a restaurant in Chicago, called Salaam, located on 79th street. Salaam does not discriminate against homosexual patrons, but then again neither does Chick-fil-A. It is unclear why Mr. Emanuel would embrace stridently anti-homosexual Muslim leaders but seek to drive out a restaurant chain operated by Christians who espouse traditional family values. But that's the Chicago way.

OT:
Aldermen are stupid:

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel became the second big-city mayor to blast the company over president Dan Cathy's comment last week that he is “guilty as charged” for supporting the traditional definition of marriage. Emanuel spoke up after Alderman Proco Joe Moreno announced he intends to block the chain from opening its second Chicago location over his stance.

But barring the popular fast-food restaurant over the personal views of Cathy is an “open and shut” discrimination case, legal scholars told FoxNews.com.

“The government can regulate discrimination in employment or against customers, but what the government cannot do is to punish someone for their words,” said Adam Schwartz, senior attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois. “When an alderman refuses to allow a business to open because its owner has expressed a viewpoint the government disagrees with, the government is practicing viewpoint discrimination.”

Re: the Chick-Fil-A dust up.....the Thought Police have now arrived! Pandering of the highest order!

7/26/2012 09:29:00 AM

Thought police is right. How is it legal for any person, much less a public official to deny business based on someone's personal opinions? If gay, minority, (insert relevant special person category here) opinions are sacred, why can't the lawful views of everyone else be sacred? Why must I believe and support what you believe in order to do business in the city? The world is upside down.

7/26/2012 10:01:00 AM

Oh come off it mate! When is the last time the federal government did not have access to intercept your phone or whatever device? They have always had authority and access. This is a non issue.

FUN AT 26TH STREET! Anita's Chief Inv. at 26th Street, Garcia, Ex ISP hack, made it his mission to launch all the CPD guys working there. Now, over his objections, retired Capt. Jim Spratt has been named his Deputy Chief. Garcia is livid! He can already hear the footsteps behind him.

7/26/2012 02:00:00 AM

Garcia is a good guy with clout. His brother is a CPD Sergeant and his son is a patrolman on the wess sigh. Garcia have a very embarrassing incident involving the retired CPD guy who was caught by Fox 32 news (Dane Placo) hanging out all day in the Bridgeport mobbed up cigar shop. Everybody knows the States Attorney investigators are a bunch of political hacks who are retired officers. I will never be one of those guys because I have no clout.

More sgts dumped out of 019 today. But according to rahm, if you'll remember the goal of merging the stations was not to get rid of any police... It was to streamline, as he said. Well tell that to the 11 sgts that just got dumped this week.

Based on 2010 decennial U.S. Census data on the 275 U.S. cities with populations greater than 100,000 people and the Business Insider adjusted list for the ten worst "HELLHOLE" cities in the nation, CHICAGO IS THE WORST "HELLHOLE" CITY.

For particulars, check THEE [NYPD) RANT and "Shaved".

Sorry Snethen, I won't be looking at Shaved. Ever. Whatever the Shaved blog is, 'news' it isn't.

OT: Rahm announces BIG positive job increase for the city (in Crains). Google to add 3,000 jobs in the Merchandise Mart for the former Motorola Mobility division
==
Why doesn't anyone call this what it is? Three thousand JOBS are MOVING from a suburb into the city.

Three thousand 'new' jobs are NOT being CREATED.

The only benefit from this is maybe half of them will add to the local economy by having lunch in a restaurant in or near the Mart, before getting on the train to go back home to their suburban house.

Umm...the Chicago Crime Commission has NOTHING to do with the City of Chicago. It's a non-profit organization independent of any governmental body. Like the Anti-Cruelty Society.

That's a start...but when seconds count, the police are only minutes away. Take a baseball bat to these punks' kneecaps and the graffiti will stop. Wear all black and a ski mask, no problem. I'm sure the responding officers will be really sympathetic to the gangbanging punk with a busted leg.

"We're not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what's required to keep us safe."

-- Mayor Michael Bloomberg, insanely calling for national police strike.

--7/26/2012 07:32:00 AM

Ha.

7/26/2012 04:11:00 PM

As crazy as Mayor Bloomberg's call for a police strike sounds, it can actually make the public stop and think about how much the police are needed. That sentiment is what is needed to rally citizens behind police and get them more interested in crime reduction. After all the only citizens to welcome a strike would be criminals.

Sergeants being promoted, oh boy oh boy! I am ironing my crisp new white sergeant shirts now, brand new stripes, oh boy oh boy, I am sure to make it, a boss promised me. I can't wait to get my due and take my rightful place among my peers as the cream rises up a little higher to the top.

Well, wish me luck lads, I sure will like being a brand new sergeant! Oh boy oh boy!
