Another corrupt assholes gone shortly:
- A veteran Chicago police officer pleaded guilty in federal court today to stealing thousands of dollars from an undercover FBI informant who he thought was working for drug dealers.
As part of his plea deal, Kallatt Mohammed, who was a tactical officer in the Wentworth police district, also admitted that in 2007 and 2008 he and Sgt. Ronald Watts extorted protection payoffs from heroin and crack dealers in the Ida B. Wells public housing complex.
Watts, who was also charged in February with Mohammed, has pleaded not guilty to the federal charges.

I have always tried to base my career on three variables, which I call the "H.I.T." tool. The HIT tool model involves Honesty...Integrity and ...Transparency. I truly believe that if most officers subscribe to utilizing these values in their careers they will not have problems in their careers. I am guessing with these officers may have violated they H.I.T. tool model.

Integrity checks in several districts (UNK which ones, he didn't want to tip his hand completely) have snared a handful of plainclothes people peeling cash off who they thought were dope boys. A few false arrests have also occured (wonder why you never got that preliminary date on dude, huh?) Like conspiracy cases where narcotics gets a few buys into dude, these officers haven't been scooped up yet because IAD with the Feds helping have been building very solid cases on a few of these disgraceful assholes. Watch for a round of indictments to hit as we get deeper into contract negotiations. Some people never learn it seems.
Hey Sgt Woo Woo, when you get sentenced let me know. I can do a free property inspection on your jail cell. Help Ronnie you were such a good Sgt to me that once you get out I will do a property inspection on your new house because you know the animals on Sagamon are going to f*@k your house when your gone and of course you will lose it to foreclosure making .20 cents an hour making license plates for me and the citizens of IL. A badge wearing criminal who has disgraced the uniform does not change the fact that the FBI are not our friends.
They believe that most local cops are corrupt and hold the rest in low regard.
I have based my career on three variables, answer calls, eat a hearty lunch, go home safe.

Integrity checks should be on going and standard in every unit on the department.

I was told from a good source the exact same thing. He's a former police officer now FBI, and 98% of FBI agents hat local police. They ever come to your house to talk to you tell them not without my lawyer.

That's because they play that stupid game of the one in front pointing their weapon at the door, while the second one points their weapon toward the sky. Then, the second one takes the lead and the lead guy points at the door, while the (now) second one points at the sky.
I was always taught to keep the gun trained on the possible target, but not to fire if my partner was between me and the target. It's not rocket science.
But we were always entertained when we partnered up with the Feds and watched them do their silly dance with the guns up and down.
