This Game is SOOO Realistic
- A 21-year-old man playing PlayStation was shot in the back through a first-floor window early Saturday morning on the West Side and died less than two hours later, authorities said.
Devon Greer, of Lansing, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was declared dead at 5:22 a.m. after being shot in the back, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. He was shot through a west-facing window in a home in the 3800 block of West Augusta Boulevard in the Humboldt Park neighborhood about 3:40 a.m., police said.
Greer, of the 18400 block of Country Street in Lansing, was among four people shot on the West Side since about 7:30 p.m. Friday. Four other people were shot early Saturday morning on the Far South Side.
So now the question becomes was it an unintentional homicide or a hit in the war zone that is the west side. The odds have to be pretty bad for you to catch one while playing video games in the supposed safety of a friend's house, right?

It's just as sad as it is funny... I mean come on its getting to the point you can't even be level with a window without catching a round ? Lol maybe we can have a public service announcement that tells everyone on the west and south sides if they want to travel from room to room they have to bear crawl it

Well see, now there you go. If you had your handy-dandy K-tel Sharp Shooter Spotter you could whip it out and dial up the experts in Cal. to tell you with pin point accuracy that the shot came from the play-station speakers.

There are no "safe places" in the South and West sides, unless the indigenous people are given section 8 housing in the unsuspecting 'burbs...
I thought humboldt park was gentrifying and turning into a lincoln park west--- this could be bad for business--- time for an outdoor roll call and some missions...
As I was reading the Chicago Scum-Times on Saturday(I like their sports section) I noticed that on pages 6, 8, 10 & 12 the lead headlines all had "Cop" in a derogatory way in them. If we didn't know before, the war for our next contract is ON! What are we gonna do about it? I am gonna find another place to get my sports!
I put NO stock in any address given by the folks in these neighborhoods. They remember 1 address in their lives while they move from place to place. That Lansing address is likely bullshit and he has been living on the West Side for God knows how long.
