Bears by a Point-and-a-Half

Only if the offense shows up.  The defense can take care of itself

Watch #99 Houston defensive end J.J. Watt who leads the NFL in both sacks (10.5) and stuffs (8). He will line up against Bears OT #72 Gabe Carimi. Watt and Carimi were Wisconsin teammates when the Badgers went to the Rose Bowl 2 years ago. Both were first round draft choices.

as a Bear fan seriously? Green-bay beat The Texans and Bears lost to GB..I was not impressed by the win over the Titans...Bears r pretenders not contenders..zero offense...Dfense and special teams r above average though...enjoy while it lasts...

Hopefully, the bad weather will work to the Bears' advantage. Houston is a warm weather, dome team. They're not used to Bear Weather.

I'm looking forward to watching this game.
The way the offense has been sputtering lately offers great cause for concern though. I'm hoping I'm wrong but I just don't get a good feeling about the outcome.

JJ Watt is another Clay Matthews...Both are loaded up with HGH...Last year the NFL claimed they would test for HGH, but alas...Its on the back burner again.

During halftime, the USO will address the fans, veterans and military personnel in attendance. Staff Sergeant Daniel Douglas, Illinois Army National Guard, will receive the Purple Heart for wounds received in action. Staff Sergeant Matthew J. Bracken, U.S. Army Special Forces Command, will receive the Bronze Star with Valor Medal for exceptionally valorous conduct in the face of the enemy of the United States. " Matthew J. Bracken is a Chicago Cop on call back for the incident over the mauling of a little dog, by his pit bull we should be making this right as minor over site instead of asking off his head wow! com-on grow some pride and speak up on behalf of a fellow Leo and military vet and true solid hero!

The Texans' J.J. Watt is a beast. Considering the age difference, I'd trade even up for the aging Julius Peppers in a heartbeat. Houston would never do it. Watt and our Peanut Tillman are in the running for NFL defensive MVP.

If the Bears survive Houston, they are definitely the REAL DEAL.

Curious, how come there isn't a special post today to salute our veterans?

How many of us flew the flag today?

Did anyone thank a living veteran, or stop to think about a father, uncle or anyone they knew from the previous wars?

At the Bears game they probably will play the National Anthem. Will it be broadcasted or will there be a minute and a half of commercials?

Think about it.

To respond to the comment calling us "Commie Motherfuckers", with the exception of Robbie Gould would you want any of these assholes living by you? Brandon Marshall is a stone cold thug. Brian Urlacher is no different than a " Baby Daddy Ghetto-Tard". Jay Cutler is possibly the most obnoxious dick in all professional sports, Devin Hester is 1 ACL injury away from slinging dope on a corner. How can I possibly cheer for this? Watching an N.F.L. Game is like watching a war movie with the Germans vs Russians. Why don't you get out of your Mom's basement, take your backwards baseball hat off and stop getting barbed wire tattoos tough guy.

A: when you run the blog, you can put up what you want. Until then, if you have something to say, say it.

How many of us flew the flag today?

A: mine flies every day from the flagpole in front of my house. At night too, with a light on it.

Did anyone thank a living veteran, or stop to think about a father, uncle or anyone they knew from the previous wars?

a: Yea, I shook hands with four fellow veterans today, and sent emails to my four veteran brothers. And I think about my late Dad, a WWII vet every day. What did you do?

At the Bears game they probably will play the National Anthem. Will it be broadcasted or will there be a minute and a half of commercials?

A: Yea, it was "broadcasted" or broadcast as we say in English. The "Knight Caps" from West Point sang it.
Did you watch it?

Think about it.

A: YOU think about it you pompous ass.

God bless all who serve, past, present and future.

Chicago "Watergate".

Oh no-no-no-no..it's not a felony. Not at all. It was an ACCIDENT. They did not mean to do it.

JUST LEMME GO, LEMME GO.

Emanuel: Taping of reporters 'much ado about nothing'

"...Pressed on the issue, Emanuel said his priorities included children’s health and education, and he repeated his view on the unauthorized recordings: “much ado about nothing.”

The issue reached a public forum last week when a court filing in a wrongful death lawsuit against the city raised questions about whether a city spokeswoman had recorded Tribune reporters without their consent as they conducted a phone interview with Chicago police Superintendent Garry McCarthy in October 2011.

And in separate incidents this past September, city spokespeople twice recorded a Tribune reporter as he conducted phone interviews with a top city official involved in Emanuel's controversial speed camera program. The spokespeople acknowledged that they independently recorded the interviews without asking the reporter for consent...."

"...After the story about the city's speed camera initiative was published on Sept. 11, Kidwell received a voice mail message from city spokesman Peter Scales disputing the accuracy of a Kubly quote, and saying he had a recording of the conversation.

Kidwell then called Kathleen Strand, a spokeswoman involved in the earlier Kubly interview, and she acknowledged recording that conversation as well.

Kidwell said he was not asked for his consent to record either interview.

Hoping to set the record straight regarding the disputed quote, Kidwell requested a copy of the tape from Strand.

"Kathleen calls me back about a half-hour later and says that portion of the tape had been inadvertently erased — it was gone," Kidwell said Friday."

------------------------------

Nice mayor, that you're all about the kids and all however we think the judge should decide if it's "much to do about nothing".

These are supposed to be highly educated individuals working in your office. That's why you pay them the wages that you do. These kinds of "mistakes" shouldn't be allowed to happen. Ethics?? Wut?

Yup. Let's all try that 'accidental' class four felony thing and see if we can get away with it, too.
