Messy Weekend
The Christmas spirit must have been flowing heavily - two dead, eight wounded over the weekend. And we're not even sure if that counts the arson that killed one, severely burned two children and left the arsonist dead as well.
Arson deaths are still murders, right? Because we know they mess with the vehicular homicide numbers constantly, with "hit and run" deaths being counted various ways.

How about justified police involved shootings where the officer kills someone? Still a homicide, right?? And all these police shootings also say a lot about he current state of our city
it should be messy year as we have proved once again that we are the murder capital of the usa--- gmac and rahmulus couldn't find a bunch of nuns in a rectory yet they are dictating policy for the cpd in their fight against crime....
I would like to know the total number of people a) shot, b) shot at, c) bludgeoned.
I think the total number of people SHOT would be shocking to the public, way, way beyond the number killed.
I'm just hoping I win the ghoul pool for 2013!
Wouldn't it be interesting to find out how much the "Violence Reduction Overtime Initiative" has cost?....hiring back Lts, Sgts, officers to work for time and a half on their days off on the southside and Michigan avenue...for months now

Remember your chase or 10-1 to achieve your gun arrest puts your fellow officers in danger . Stay in your hole and make sure you go home to your family to enjoy a happy and safe 2013 !

Nuns in a rectory?
The women who was a victim of homicide by arson was included in the homicide tally on the web map of homices in the clear system last night. But hasn't included the homicides from Sunday morning or lastnight.
Soo did we reach 500 again, or what?
